it's just like pen and paper, though you need a lot of practice to get the hang out of it. coz' the hardest part is keeping track of the cursor, with pen and paper you can actually see your hand. so controlling the tablet is more difficult, just keep on practicing.

practice, don't get frustrated if at first you don't get what you want. Learn shortcut commands. experiment, don't be afraid. Lastly, start with something simple, work your way up, draw everyday if possible.

yup, just a few. I always start with 1 layer for the sketch and 1 for the main object, then 1 for the background. but whatever works for you.

I'm guessing that the Background is the bottom layer, which layer is top though, the sketch or the colour??

it's better if you place the sketch on top of all layers, that way you could still see all your guidelines in front of all the colors.

Gosh dude, this was a really good painting, though I was really disappointed at the end since the background wasn't very developed. Even still, after watching the one Nico did, I actually prefer this version of Ironman, terrific job.
