highway 50, dusk (y' know, when everything looks a bit "orangey"), in a 68 mustang convertible, roof down, "carry on my wayward som" playing (or your music, nothing too heavy now) and just driving... soon as i'm old enough to do it, nothing's gonna stop me... need a mustang first though... and a way to get it from here (Wales) to there (Nevada). crap.
@soaponaroapDG How about "Riders on the Storm?" That's a great driving tune. I hope you make it this way before too long; I've driven in every state but Alaska, including Highway 50 in Nevada, and it is well worth the effort it takes to get here. I once spent a week in Wales, by the way; I have fond memories of that trip.
easy for you to say, the nevada/utah highway 50 stretch, goes on for about 4-5 hours of NOTHING, it was namedd the scariest and lonliest road in the usa
I watched this video, because i just finished the Stephen King book "desperation" in which people get pulled over by a cop on highway 50, taken in the back of his car , and driven to a deserted town, where then are locked in a police station, they escape and its kinda hard to explain but its alot to do with god, and good an evil etc. but watching this video, really shows how desolate the place is, kinda creepy. would love to go there tho!!!!1
Hi! Thanks for your comment! If you love that kind of movie and that kind of landscapes, you really have to travel this highway. You will not see very much traffic out there. Sometimes kinda creepy. :) But I like it!
