i have to agree with the people who find this more sad than funny. this kind of "humour" could only appeal to a psychopath, or perhaps to people who share a similar pathetic existence to the subject, as they get a kind of "hey he reminds me of me!" laugh from it. monkey dust is usually funny because there is satire or a punchline involved. there is nothing here, just a pitiful, suffering human.
Monkey Dust's animation is great, beautiful but grotesque at the same time. First time I saw the self made doll in this sketch I thought it was really funny, watching it a few years later I found it a bit heartbreaking- maybe it's just me tho!

You seem like an as- astonishingly educated person, surely you must have some smart answer as to what humor can be found the absolute detachment of one human being to the point where a "real" relationship involves a doll.
