i will do everything i can to get a dog who has nearly the same colours. my dad doesnt want me to get one when im living with my parents and it makes me feel really odd whenever i see someone who has a collie like lassie but i will get one ^^ no one will stop me from that.

I don´t know if I were an animal (cat, dog) in past lives, but when I see films with them...as Brazilian people say: "Sou uma manteiga derretida" (I´m a melted butter)...since I was a kid, these kind of films touched me! For me, one of the powerful scenes is one (old - I guess in the 60´s), when a lady hits Lassie with a umbrella and a girl, who was in a wheelchair, suddenly stands up...I have no words!

The dog in this film was being told what to do on a scene by scene basis. Name was Mason. Brilliantly directed child's film. These dogs are not for for the faint of heart. VERY loyal, strong and aggresive as well as compassionate. Can tell you though, that it's characteristics are exactly those of of a sensitive rough collie. I've two of them. I know what I'm talking about.

i had a dog named lassie, but i've never heard of the movie (in BG there arent many US stuff). i had the same realashionship with him, but he was killed (poison syringe) by a criminal :( i still remember him ( year 2000)
