With your 400 you edit with heavy compressed AVCHD files, in the end the result will be brijant but you have to take a good look at your PC. A Quad Core can handle it. You can also convert the AVCHD files to a high MPEG level, this will give your processor al little rest, their are lots tutorials on Youtube. With your talent you can handle this.
