When Planetside Next comes out, I bet there's gonna be alot of people calling it a WOW ripoff and saying WOW is better. That is the exact reason why better MMOs never get the credit they deserve, just because of fucking WOW!
As an Emerald VS, we feared the times when the Enclave would move in to fight where we were. Was that the outfit with BuzzCutPsycho? I can't remember any of your names, just remember getting steamrolled. :P
I miss the days I ran with the enclave back when they were still NC.

yes i agree with you, i solo'd a lot in my years of PS and got alot of succesful kills, caps etc. but i believe that the meaning of the game was a team game and in my opinion its alot funner in a huge 300vs300 battle than 1v2 battles during soloing
ill settle this, yes, the game is not a solo game, it is pure teamwork or else it isnt very fun, but yes it is kind of immature of you to be fighting with a 12 year old about the game but it doesnt matter because you are correct and the little pre-puberty kid is trying to say otherwise.
I remember playing as vanu in beta, we were so underpopulated we almost never had continents, we had huge battles on the three worlds linked to our sanctuary just to take the first base on the continent and would sometimes spend 12 hours just defending that first base. good times
the vanu pulsar was poor when the game launched but it did get improved, i remember in my first battles (as nc) thinking, hurrah were up against those purple guys again :)

That game was war when u had to rally at the sanctuary and cross continent to rain hell on the enemy. I hung around till they added the BFR's but the sense of being in a massive battle had died and I left PS for ever (salutes) to the good old ays RageCarrier Markov/Emerald

Yeah I wish SOE would make a planetside 2 where you fight for whole star systems and planets and moons. But they are too short sighted and money grubbing for that.
LOL I think you killed me a few times. I was with NC Emerald D2A. It was disbanned because of fights amongst the higher ranks. Was still a fun game to play. Gonna get my CR5 and BFR-Flight certs and then I will probably end my subscription. $!50-$180 a year for a game that is losing it's community :( . I bet if they made it free, more people would play. Get more people to play it I don't want it to die. NOOOO!
I know. StarGateWorlds may provide some of it, but from everything I read they don't give you first person perspective as a first choice. Second they may keep the group size down to standard SG teams which is what 6? Planetside had everything, objectives, coordination capability, huge battles that could last for days (experienced two of those). One of the best games I ever played. PS Forever!

people would be cunning and think outside the box you could do very well as solo trooper.
Quite often my fellow NC would zerg head on against the enemy but i would seperate from the zerg and attack the enemy from the sides.

Watching this video brings back a lot of memories for me both working with you guys and filling up my kill counts.
When I left the game I left. I never came back. I think this was for the best due to the dying community.
We are all moving to Global Agenda and hope to see some of you guys in that game.
