all this talk about liar loans, in another vid, he never once mentioned that those liar's are the general public. like they say, it takes two to tango. those in the public that committed fraud to get those loans should be thrown in jail right along with the bankers. they have just as much to do with the house crisis as the bankers do.

Then Wall St. ratings firms like Standard and Poor's, Moody's, and Fitch fraudulently stamped these toxic assets with AAA ratings. it`s very dismaying to hear that bill moyers is going into (well-earned, mind you) retirement. interviews such as this one with bill black, or a similar one done a year ago have been incredible eye-openers to overseas viewers such as myself.

I think that the fact is our creepy politicians are ignoring what is recognized as THE GENESIS OF THE FINANCIAL MELTDOWN, THE EXPLOSION OF THE HOUSING BUBBLE. All of that stinky paper that screwed up the financial markets would still be good if there was not a HUGE EXPLOSION OF THE HOUSING BUBBLE. Greedy Ameritards bought houses they could not afford and lots of other junk. Time to start at the beginning and liquidate Fannie and Freddie!

This was an awesome informative Bill Moyers Journal episode. I love this interview of William K Black. He's one of the few voices that explains so well what the men behind the curtain have done & are still doing. I'm very angry that those in govt, charged w/ running country, are allowing criminals to get away & even profit from their crimes. We're living in Bizarro World! Also, I'm so disappointed & dismayed we're losing Bill Moyers Journal. Who now will watch & report on what the scoundrels do?
