I hate how in this film they die and in the book they dont. And I cried when I was a kid when he has to go in the water.

this is not a crappy song. It fits exellent with the movie because it shows how hopeless it is for animals to survive in a world that men destroyed. It is sad, but the two dogs never had a chance.
