  • The Beatles with guns. An American fantasy realised!

  • why is ringo from birmingham??bad accents

  • love this song :)

  • no he doesn't

  • paul sings this

  • Hahaa. Several commenters here only prove what Brian knew all along:

    UK site Television Heaven:

Brian Epstein, the Beatles manager, was so horrified of what the British public may have thought that he banned the series from being shown in the UK. When The Beatles cartoon series premiered on ABC's Saturday morning line-up at 10:30 am EST on September 25th 1965 it captured an unprecedented 52 per cent of the audience.

  • The show proved to be extraordinarily profitable. But in the early 1990s the series' rights were purchased by the Beatles own company Apple Corps. Ltd. Since then they have been kept firmly out of sight.

  • lol ringo

  • Dont insult George by calling him Mexican!

  • Doesnt even sound remotely like them. They couldve made these cartoons a higher quality product.

  • these cartoons really chill me.

  • kinda funny that John is the one in the war plane ...

  • I'm sure you don't mean funny-as-in-haha ~ you really mean funny-as-in-ironic. :)

  • Paul Frees did the voices of the publisher, John and George.

  • as harrisonchick sez they were voiced by American, wow i did not know there were Beatles cartoons before

  • unfortunately, they do exist.

  • Wow, Paperback Writer was used in a Beatle cartoon? I had no idea. "It's a dirty story of a dirty man" in a 60's children's cartoon? Racy stuff! Ha ha! Mommy wouldn't have liked that! Come to think of it, mommy didn't like The Beatles at all.

  • aww....that´s so cute^^

  • They're obviously lip synching!

  • Blat! Blat! LOL. Who were these writers? I remember watching these cartoons when I was a kid. I'm still a fan. huh, huh...yeah!

  • I LOVE THE BEATLES

  • The cartoon Beatles voices sounds alot different than the real Beatles voices. In the cartoon, Ringo sounds alot like George, George sounds like an irish scout, Paul sounds like a younger American guy, and John sounds like an older American guy.

  • i think ringo sounds like himself.

  • I think Ringo sounds like George XD

  • @KoharaLuna yes he does!!!!!

  • why are they mexican?

  • huh...?

  • There's a little truth in their origin stories.....

  • Oh man, these voices! Especially George's, it's like they've never heard his actual voice before! Oh well, it's only a cartoon, and a funny one at that!

  • I like each of their interpretations of how they met each other....

  • Is it me, or does John sound vaguely like Frosty the Snowman? ._.'

  • Lmao.

  • Well... now we know how the Beatles Anthology was written. :-P

  • Paul voice is the only one that sounds close. Ringo's kiiinnda has the same attitude, but not low enough. George voice...omfg. So inacurate, but it still has the same kind of kindness in it. And Johns is NO WHERE close. Its actually a really good cartoon though. I love the animation in this, especailly how they animated John. <33:)

    Thanks for psoting.

  • This is one of my favorite Beatles songs. My fiance says that I sound better singing the older songs and I quite agree with him.:)

  • Funny, ringo's way the most.

  • I recognise Paul and Ringo but it was a little hard for the ohter two, why does one talk like a mix between Swedish, German and... something else? XDD

  • Because they were voiced by an American

  • the beatles as nazis LMAO

  • haha I was thinking of what they'd say if they ever sat down and watched this...I love how John sounds like the complete opposite of what he was. Good vid though, thanks for posting!

  • I haven't seen these in a while! I thought that no one had these on video or DVD. I love the Beatles songs and this is one of my favorites. Thanks.:)

Where can I get the cartoons on DVD?:)

  • I have yet to find them on dvd. I took this from an old video tape I had from when I was little.

  • I don't remember animated George sounding vaguley Asian O_o

  • I love ani-Ringo. Paul sounds Chinese. >_<

  • When these were out, my family didn't have a TV, so I'd sit with all the other kids of the neighborhood on Saturday and watch this series. We never missed it. And the music was the best. It was a real treat. Thanks for posting this!

  • Quite a lot of gunplay for a children's cartoon, by today's standards. Fun stuff, thanks for posting!

  • cute for the era; hardly the beatles in their real dope loving fornicating nasty talking selves.

  • why arnt there accents liverpudlian? stupid cartoon!!! xx

  • Dude that was pethetic, you but somting up for like three seconds, thats stupid, i as a beatles fan, is embarssed for you!

  • I is embarrassed for you.
