This beer to me is not that different from reg bud light but there somethin about the taste that leads me to believe they are adding distilled grain alcohol to the beer to make it jump from 4.2% to 6% ABV...i wouldnt go out of my way to buy this but if its the only thing im not gonna cry about it

I just bought some of this and looked it up, because I wasn't sure it was beer. Tasted like Zima or something. Watery, sweet, and I didn't like it. I usually drink a bud, bud light, or carona. If you like your beer to taste like beer, I would avoid this one.

The guy on the left just can't admit Bud Light Platinum is good. I mean he said good things about it, until he found out what it was. Does not make sense. I think Bud Light Platinum is very good and better than Bud Light. Nice taste and smooth for a beer with 6% alcohol. Got a 6 pack for $7.99. Gonna try to find the 12 packs. Definitely gonna be a hit.

First and foremost, i love beer. LOVE IT! But this platinum bud light isnt holding up to all of the hoopla. Decent beer, just unimpressive. Waaaay too much hype.

I love beer and bud light is my favorite when I am drinking; however, bud light platinum is slowly becoming my favorite. I can only drink about one, though, because it is a bit stronger than regular bud light. I can drink three BL to one BLP (right now). I get a buzz quick with the BLP, but slowly working my way up to two :)

First off ....it's not really light....less than 10 calories than a bud heavy...dunno how they didn't identify a "malt liquor" type of flavor in it. That kind of bitterness seemed obvious to me. However, I agree with their review in the end...."If it's put in front of me I'll drink it but it's not something I would go out of my way to purchase again." That's my feeling exactly. 6/10

AB made a beer that i'd buy slightly more of, if only it wasn't from AB. will it get craft beer drinkers to buy it? to sample a 6er or 2, yes. will it tap into the craft market? nope. not long term. no way. it's still made by AB for profit and sadly, never from passion.

craft beer isnt about the alcohol content its flavor! take Stone Levitation for example, with only 4.4 %ABV and still tastes great.

Beer snob here (I just finished making 5 gal. of a Russian Imperial Stout and there is not one macro in my fridge right now): I think you guys spoke against the a lot more AFTER you knew it was Bud Light...if you had said that stuff prior to seeing what it was, it would carry more weight.

That said...I still won't bother trying it. But thanks for the preview!
