thx an uploader und thx @ President Truman for the right human choice... prefering the more expensive and the unpopular air bridge during the election campaign! I think at the end it was seen as a success, but at the begining... people in Britain even had to life with rations for grain which even during the 6 years of war didn't exist, because the USA helped out with everything. I think the few hobby aviators at this time had no high octane "aviation gasoline" how it was called at that time...
