every time i apply for a Job "Im an Oracle DBA" with 15 years experience i get to talk to someone from India and I know they are not going to give me a job because I am American and White, they are looking for other people from India with H1B visa to give the job to... its very disappointing to know that i have worked hard gone to school got certified and my profession is now dominated by people from India that are not even US citizens.. In Europe, countries subsidize foreign workers, whereas the United States restricts foreign workers by pointless quotas and other bureaucratic measures.

Low wages help everyone. Cheap labour leads to lower prices, which lead to higher business profits, which lead to more capital investment, which lead to business expansion, which leads to MORE JOBS.

And the current housing and economic slump of the US can be partly solved by letting more immigrants in to consume and to buy the homes on sale.

If you heavily outsource a job field then people in the US will realize that a field has poor job security and less compensation(increase the supply, decrease the demand, decrease the price). I have several friends on H1-Bs. Shady businesses say that they are filling "skilled" positions when they are really filling entry level positions, with people with 2 masters degrees from India who get paid $50k/yr. American college grads are not hired because they have the freedom to get experience and then leave the company if they don't pay competitively. H1-B visas don't share that problem... it's a form of indentured servitude and Washington is to blame for not enforcing the rules.
