Good advice, but I have something I'd want to add if I may:

Internet dating isn't the best of ideas anyways, since you never know if someone is lying or is a predator out for someone or what. It can just be very dangerous. Chances are, nothing'll happen, but you never know if it'll be you, a friend, or family that gets hurt, and no one wants that. All it takes is getting a bit too comfortable and giving out your town or your full name.

I hope I'm not intruding or anything by saying that.

I agree with BC for the most part. When you're young, you shouldn't have to work hard to find/maintain a love life. However, its always good to keep your options open, meaning don't completely cut off the older English woman as a possibility in the future. Just don't make it a goal for the moment. I can't speak from experience, but I personally feel that when you're young, its better to date people closer to your age. You're more likely to be in the same state of mind.
