Hi, Where do you get the resin and hardner in large bottles like the ones you are using? I have already made a VAWT something like yours and used a fan motor which I added Neo. magnets to, I do not like it so I want to make my own PMA.
Yes, the magnets press into holes cut into the 1/2" plywood. I use a liberal amount of epoxy as I press them in. Be super careful when doing this. I place the rotor on top of a steel plate so that the magnets hold in. Then I place a board over each in turn, as I place the next. One time I had all the magnets fly out in a blink and smack together. Thankfully none of my fingers were between!

Just a small question. I read that when curing it gets really hot, is this true?
If so does it damage your coils?
I am building my own stator, just need to find the right kind of statorresin in my area.
