  • I agree with the points you made against this bill. Frankly I find it to be an outrage that the government thinks they can make it mandatory for people to have to buy health insurance. I do believe that the private sector is superior to the public sector however and would not want a single payer system. Our bloated over-sized government is the problem.

  • What its all about is overpopulating the private healhcare system to the point where people will gladly move to the Government Healthcare option. Obama himself stated how he wanted to eliminate employer coverage and move to a single payer system. This bill is just getting that ball rolling and it's sad to see

  • @SouthP17CD

In my opinion you have that just ass backward. We baby boomers are about to exit the private sector and go to Medicare..that in itself would cause the private sector to loose a great deal of money. This bill is about maintaining the private sector by mandating that everyone carry health insurance. Other wise this industry (insurance) would take a huge hit. Remember that our children are not having as many children, causing the population to decline.

  • Excuse me miss, do you understand America is 14 TRILLION doolars in debt and noone in D.C. is cutting spending? Do you understand macro economics at all? Have you heard what either Ron Paul and/or Peter Schiff have to say regarding the economy and the government that caused the problem and is repeating the exact same things Bush/Greenspan did? Are you preparing for the US Dollar to possibly suffer hyper-inflation? Please understand the history of money, banking, and the Federal Reserve.

  • I know all about Ron Paul and Schiff's deal and there is no way the dollar is going back on any kind of metal backing. Our dollar is backed by our ability and the need for, the war on terror. So, if I were you I would just kick back and soak in all the propaganda around that, including the fact that with nearly the whole world turning to the US for policing, our bank credit is very, very good.

  • This will end just as the Soviet system ended. Trust me we don't want to experience hyper-inflation in this country. It is never too late until it happens. The government doubled w/ Bush and we can easily cut it in half and use the money saved to pay down the debt. Mortgage backed securities also had a AAA rating and look at what happened to that. Greece? Dubai? Iceland? America's turn is not too far away. Yes we have the world reserve currency but that will also change and is in the process of.

  • When are all you people going to wake up and see your being fed a line of bullshit, just like the other side of the coin feeds their line of bullshit. The reality is that the US has the largest economy in the world, comparing it to Russia, Greece, Dubai or Iceland is ludicrous. We hold the largest voting block at the IMF, do you seriously think we would vote against the dollar? The G20 would never vote against the dollar.

  • The new world reserve currency will be SDRs issued through the IMF. SDR is a basket of currencies. The Dollar will still be the world reserve currency, but it will be equal to other currencies as well. I know you know this will be horrible.

  • Everyperson in the world will feel the pain when the Yuan, Yen, Euro, Sterling, Dollar, or any other currency loses tremendous value. Of course the IMF will be responsible with that system for the first 10 years or so, then the IMF will unleash economic hell upon the world.

  • This is why I advocate for the US to get back on the gold standard and practice sound monetary policy to prevent this from happening.

  • you are retarded, even obama just announced that people woiuld lose their health insurance with the bill. Retard, go back in line at the social service office!!

  • Again a troll who likes to come and provoke without knowing anything about the subject. This video is 7 mos old and is my take on the HOUSE BILL, not the current consolation of the the House and Senate bill that is being debated. Try and keep up if your going to comment on people's videos. I do not support the Senate version of the bill, or the current consolidation bill, not without a Public Option at the very least.

  • For people that dont know i urge you all even you boomer to watch this video.

    watch?v=WmmiwHw8bNg

  • Read HR 3400 it best to see both side of this instead of one I for one think this is all about control Im fed up with both parties

  • There is a video about you being misinformed.

    watch?v=sC2RDg48Hlw

Did you really block them so you wouldn't have to debate them?

  • Until people like you and your ilk started to spam videos and help spread fear and lies, I never had to block one single visitor. But I'm not about to "debate" (in Barney Franks language) a kitchen table. I have no time for that. If there is a point, or section of the bill you have a question about or want to "debate" then state it but random hit pieces, without substance will not be tolerated.

  • Funny, I checked the site.

There was a link to HR 3200, and a page reference for every comment. So where is the fear and lies?

Looks to me you, and Barney Frank, just block people that disagree with you.

  • The problem is with this Page reference in the bill is that anyone looking at just that section, without going back to the beginning and reading past the point of your "reference" is miss lead. That's the point. You can't pick out one little section and quote it, without understand the whole passage or section. Are you too looking to be blocked or do you really need to debate with me on this bill or the Senate bill draft that was just released?

  • You obviously didn't read HR 3200 before you started commenting.

This will phase out private Health Insurance, and turn into a single payer system. PLUS many more nasty things.

More crap about misinformation, yet where is your link to the bill? To back up what you are saying.

Go to my video, HR 3200 ... And you WILL find a link to the bill, and a video with a page reference to the horrible ideas in this bill.

This video is misinformation, she is misleading.

  • Fortunately for me, most of my viewers know how to use the Thomas Register and can look the bill up for themselves. A link is not always the gate way to truth. I'll check out your link and see if it's any good. If you have read the bill, you didn't understand what you were reading.

  • Ok, you have no link, but you want to check mine, lol.

A link is not always the gate way to truth? I take it you mean, please do not put up links to HR 3200, because if people read it, they will realize what a huge mistake it would be.

I have page reference for every point. I didn't make a "trust me" video like you... with no link.

    Your shady days are over.

  • don't come on my video and accuse me of spreading untruths just because of a link missing. it's childish and insulting.

  • And I did check your link and it's valid. Too bad you didn't read it.

  • Let me guess, you are talking trash AFTER you blocked someone, so they could not respond.

Instead of just "talking the talk", why don't you debunk every point jazzyhap raised in the video about HR 3200, and not hiding behind blocking posters, and making excuses.

  • jazzyhap's video can be found here:

    watch?v=3krhImSg-l0

boomer is obviously afraid to debate jazzy, so she blocked and now responds while jazzy can not comment back.

jazzy made a response video, hoping to encourage a debate about the Health Care Reform, but it is boomer who has resorted to "mob style" tactics, pushing a socialism agenda.

What next, not allowing free speech, and pushing communism?

  • neo cons are sick, money focused people!

i wouldn't be surprised on what sick plans they have for the future. unbelievably cold hearted and filthy rich people!

  • Have downloaded it, and read it. You obviously have not. Its hard for me to have respect for you as your ignorance is so overwhelming.

  • I'm glad you have downloaded this bill and read it. I'm not too impressed with your ability to understand what it's saying.

  • SEC102 PROTECTING THE CHOICE TO KEEP CURRENT COVERAGE: (a) Grandfathered Health Insurance Coverage Defined- Subject to the succeeding provisions of this section, for purposes of establishing acceptable coverage under this division, the term `grandfathered health insurance coverage' means individual health insurance coverage that is offered and in force and effect before the first day of Y1 if the following conditions are met: (1) LIMITATION ON NEW ENROLLMENT- Continue on next reply...

  • (A) IN GENERAL- Except as provided in this paragraph the individual health insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of coverage is on or after the first day of Y1(2) LIMITATION ON CHANGES IN TERMS ORCONDITIONS- Subject to paragraph (3) and except as required by law the issuer does not change any of its terms or conditions, including benefits and cost-sharing, from those in effect as of the day before the first day of Y1.

  • You didn't read jack ! There is a bill over 1,000 pages and you don't think the Government is intent on taking over your life and your childrens lives ! Ignorance is to bliss as Stupidity is to voter fraud > Who paid you to cover for P-BO Move on dot socialism ? Geez. Medicare and Caid are bankrupt. How the hell are we gonna pay 4 this? Taxing the wealthiest 1% ? The middle class and poor hold the highest head count in America Not the rich. Taxing them will only cause us to lose more jobs dummy

  • yes, I not only read the bill, I understand what I was reading, as you obviously didn't. Calling me names is not a way to change my view on this bill. Or what our Congress has been trying to do to reform the health care system. I never did much for MoveOn but I was one of the first to sign up for Media Watch, my assignment in 2002 was to watch..gag.gag..Fox news.

  • Comment removed

  • I agree.

    She didn't read it.

She is spreading lies for the Obama camp.

  • Yes, this is the exact language of the original bill. This section talks about people who buy their own medical insurance policy and are not part of a group policy, such as a employer group policy. The language clearly says INDIVIDUAL HEALTH INSURANCE ISSUER. If you are have a individual policy before the effective date, the insurance co can't change anything about it for one year.

  • The issuer (insurance co) policy will be grandfathered into the system, allowing you as an individual to choose to stay with the plan, or drop it and move to a more affordable plan, or one that meets your needs better, through the Exchange, without being caught in the 2.5% penalty for not having coverage after day one.

  • Personally, Im not into murder. The bill also set us for a continual invasion of our privacy not only in itself, but as to future amendments. Furthermore, how many of us, let alone our Congress persons & House or Representatives has been able to read this entire document? I would suspect < 5% at best. I have already found enough bad elements to this bill to see it will be a major mistake if it is passed.

  • Your ignorance is overwhelming. I hope you read the bill as I have (as much as possible as they made it almost as big as the Bible) so that you will see that this is the government not only making our private lives public, but forcing us to pay for such things as abortion (at any term).

  • This bill doesn't even mention abortion. The laws in effect will remain in effect around this issue. Federal money, Medicaid, is only available in the cases of rape, incest or life threating situations.

  • Boomer....have you read the article in the New York Post called Deadly Doctors (07-24-09)?

Once the Government starts offering their HC for cheaper, then the private companies will go out of business, no longer allowing options for everyone.

It will not be the same at all.

I too have the pdf and have read it. There are a lot of holes....they are already talking revisions...I am sure the original will mutate over time to read what our gov wants.

obama will give amnesty to the illegals.

  • No I haven't read the article you pointed out, so I can't comment on it.

But I can tell you that insurance companies, many of the largest, are backing this bill, in fact are looking forward to putting in their input in the up coming merge of all the bills. I have a link in another video to a Politico article, plus two others, one from Boeing and another from Kaiser Insurance. You might want to check out those links.

  • Boomer.... This is a very good video. It also talks about the "Deadly Doctors" article.

    watch?v=LfzXie-9oV4

"Emanuel says medical care should be reserved for the non-disabled, not given to those "who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens. An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia" Translation: Don't give much care to a grandmother with Parkinson's or a child with cerebral palsy."

  • He explicitly defends discrimination against older patients: "Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination; every person lives through different life stages rather than being a single age. Even if 25-year-olds receive priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 years now was previously 25 years" .

  • Then don't read the article. Read Ezekiel Emanuel's article in the Lancet. That's where it came from. The reporter is quoting word for word. Its NOT misinformation. Its straight from the horse's mouth. Or you could just watch my latest 3- video expose of Obama's plan. I'm one up on you. you need to study more.

    From a grass-roots girl.

  • I've read the bill people. There is absolutely nothing...I mean nothing in the bill, any of them, that lends even a minute credence to your claims. Ezekiel Emanuel can think or believe or push or suggest all he wanted but it had to get into the bill and it's not there? I watched the hearing, the mark ups, never, not once did any Republican object to a Eugenics project in the bill, or a leaning toward that. Are they and their staff blind to such a plot?

  • Your trying to send out a scare tactic to every person with a young child and the elderly and it's bullshit...How do I know? BECAUSE I'VE READ THE DAM BILL.

Stop trying to scare the people who visit my video's. If you have a beef with Ezekiel, then take it up with him and keep to the facts that are in the bill, not some assumption on your part or plot you envision. I could find all sorts of video and

  • whip up a story that says those that oppose health reform like the idea of people dieing and think that the poor and working poor should die. But I don't do that. I present the facts and provide links to real facts, not some half baked video. So stop it!! Enough is enough with all this fear mongering!!

  • So my question would be what about forced, vaccination....no exceptions?

And secondly, should the government be allowed to have real time access to my bank account?

  • From my research and current (today) information, the vaccine for H1N1 is just now starting human trials and won't be available to the general public until early fall. They have said Pregnant women and children are the groups that seem the most effected, based on the latest out breaks but I'm not buying it. Just like Bush's "forced" vaccination for Small Pocks, this will go no where if people refuse.

  • The real time access talked about in the bill has to do with paying the Doctors for Medicare and Medicaid services. Part of the rising cost of these programs is all the paperwork in filing a claim. If a Doctor provides care to Medicare or Medicaid people, he/she, will have an account set up with the gov (like paypal) where they can bill and be paid in real time.

  • Well, that solves it then. Healthcare is solved. Let's go on with the system as is. Thank you congressman.

    Specious arguement.

  • Thank you for the work you are doing! I have been trying to pull together some info on 1) what percentage of our incomes were Americans paying for healthcare in 93 when HC was defeated versus what percentage we pay today? 2) how many health ins. co. were there in 93 versus the number today?(In lieu of all the buy outs and monopolization of health ins providers) 3) what percentage has HC costs risen versus the rate of inflation and the rise in middle class wages?

    Where should I look?

  • I did a quick Google search just now on "US Health Care Statistics" and there were a number of official sites to review. Unfortunately, it will take a little work to find the exact answers to your questions but I'm sure they're out there.

  • Why would a poor person want to spend money on health care (assuming they dont already get it for free) when they can just go to the hospital; and get health care and just not pay the bill?

  • Under the plan, citizens who are poor would pay very little in the way of insurance premiums, perhaps nothing if they have very little income. Those on SSI or SSDI, would continue to be covered under Medicare. If you've ever had to use the emergancy room, you would know the answer to your question. With an insurance card, they could choose their doctor and make appointments before it's an emergancy, at little cost to them personally.

  • Can you recommend a good place to get all the current information about this plan?

  • The best place I've found is GovTrack (dot) us

    Click on "Bills and Resolutions"

In the Search Box, type HR 3200

And the "Status" page of the bill will come up. You have several sections you can click on for information and to read the summery of the bill or the in tire text. If you click on Full Text. the bill comes up and on the left hand side you can download the bill in pdf format for searching or skimming around off line.

  • Thank you

  • Emergency room care is only for the immediate situation. They don't cure you, they treat symptoms and send you home. There is no follow ups. Emergency rooms do not treat cancer or chronic disease, only emergencies.

  • I'm just telling you what my congressman told me to do. Don't have health care, go to the hospital and then don't pay the bill, Yes that's what he told me.

  • alright lady, tell me if this is justified-

    -Putting people on REQUIRED diets

-A Home Visitation Program, where a Government Official acually enters the homes of young parents

-Full health coverage to ILLEGAL immigrants. ILLEGAL!

-Gov't will have real time access to bank accounts

-Requires all employers to give health care to the families of all full and part time employees. (will kill small businesses)

    +Much Moar

ill look up where if you want.

    This is very extreme.

  • I've seen the emails that are going around the internet that list a lot of this miss leading information. In fact I got two today.

Nowhere in the bill does it say that any of your claims are true. I've read and reread this bill until I'm blue in the face. So, yes...please tell me where it says any of what you are claiming. Keep in mind the Blue Dogs changed the mandatory requirements around employers yesterday.

  • She works in Healthcare, most nurses and healthcare practicioners support (other than doctors) this bill, as it means continued employment opportunities for them. This is the next big factory coming to the forefront, taking peoples children and placing them in gov. dorms so they could sacrificed, experimented on, and raped. Follow the money an you find the evil. Why the hell do you they overpropagandize nursing on TV with shows that make the nurses look heroes for doing their job.

  • Wow! Who is "she" and if your referring to me, I don't work as a nurse. And good God, where do you come up with this stuff about kids in dorms and rape...take your meds.

  • if had done your homework before posting this VLog, you would have expected this, and more importantly knew about the big picture, but you didnt. Your supporting forced enoculations. Dont think so, wait until mid about mid Nov. for the announcement, shit you could even rub it in my face if i'm

  • and can take your children if they deem the conditions to be unsafe.

  • your not sure about anything in this bill. (unless you read all 1017 pages). there could be alot of things you could put in that many pages, some bad things that people may miss. in obamas latest speech, he said just about everything that needed to be done. how many pages does it take to put so little of words on? the bill is much to long. I SMELL A RAT

    brian (15 yrs old)

  • You really have to see the document to understand that although there are quite a few pages, a lot of the language is "substitute ....for ...", or other such language. So the meat of the bill isn't all that many pages, or even paragraphs. It's broken down into sections, some of which I didn't read, because they don't really have much to do with my immediate interest, such as how something will be reported.

  • Please watch this Youtube Video: The Health Care Bill: What they DON'T want you to know!

  • I got an email from my brother listing the same "claims" that your video makes. When I responded and let him know that these were distortions, out and out lies and fear mongering. He wrote back and asked where he could download a copy of the bill to read for himself. I hope he does and will be able to know exactly what the bill says and not rely on such crap as what is in the video.

  • America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009

It finally reveals the price of the reckless ambitions of our current government... including tax increases that would take us to even higher levels than most of Europe!

  • There are no tax increases in the bill, except for a 1.5% increase for people who make over 1 million a year.

  • There sure will be huge tax increases down the road if the govenment runs health care.

  • John, how much do you pay, percentage wise, for your health care now? Are you insured by your employer? How much is your premium out of each check? Divide that number by the gross amount you made..that gives you the percentage of your gross wages that goes to an insurance co. Who can drop you, refuse to pay certain charges and increase that percentage at will. This is what your defending.

  • I am defending choice with a government run option the choice will go away maybe not right away but the government will drive out the private companies and we will be burdened with rationed high tax health care just like Canada.

The Canadian system is a mess it is far worse then America.

I do want things to get better but not with a government run plan.

    Thanks

    John

  • There is no Public Option in the bill any more. They removed it in Mark up. So there is no "gov" plan.

The subsidized plans (for low and moderate income) are from Private Insurance Co. It's really a bone they threw to the insurance industry to get them behind the bill.

I know the media continues to refer to the "Public Plan" but if you read the bill you won't find that word anywhere.

  • Jesus did not give out pills, and he didn't charge money. Making a profit off someones misery is ANTI-CHRIST is it not?

  • Let's not drag religion in to this.

  • I agree with you, but there is no way that in a deficit like ours that this plan will become economically sound. The biggest question is, how is this being paid for? The only way is through heavy taxation at this point.

  • There are no taxes involved as far as you and I are concerned. The rolling back of the Bush tax cuts for the rich 1% and 1.5% respectively are the only taxes being talked about in the House bill.

  • Thank you very much for your detailed information. I believe Congress is just quarreling over how its to be paid for. What is coming soon is mandatory virus shots and once who pays for that is finalized then they will make us get the virus shots (or else). Why else are they in such a big rush to pass it before the Fall?

  • There is a lot to say about how this is paid for but I think the CBO report (you can find it on CSPAN (dot) org, main page, explains all of the ins and outs. Another good source is to watch the Finance Committee hearings on this. At this point the CBO says it will be deficit natural over the next 10 yrs.

  • Hey Boomer a friend of mine wants to know if this is going to be mandatory the same way that car insurance is.. I have not been able to find the answer to that.. do you know? Get back to me when you can.. Thanks.

  • Hey Smartie, I've read through part of HB3200 and IIRC every person will be required to have some sort of health coverage be it private insurance, the public option, medicare, medicaid, VA, armed forces insurance, or possibly some state funded programs.

  • Thanks bunches.. I will pass this information on to my friend.

  • You're very welcome!

  • I would like to explain a little more about your question on being "mandatory". No, you can turn down coverage but in doing so, you also will be taxed 2.5% to cover cost in the case of an emergancy at the hospital, if you should need it. So in that respect, the cost is mandatory but not the insurance.

  • This tax is applied if your adjusted gross income is greater than 133% of poverty or $14,364 for a single person. For families it's up to 400% of poverty or approx. $92,000 yr. (Family of 4)

I know it's complicated but I hope this helps.

  • Thank you.. I will pass the information on. :)

  • Thank you Boomer. This has to be done and I'm completely with you. If we don't do a change in healthcare, my daughter will end up in a wheelchair within 5 years and she can be fixed. How ironic that she may have to be on welfare when she doesn't have to. She needs an operation on her leg but no doctor will touch her because of the pre-exixting law. Please keep in touch with me on this

  • Great video Boomer1949: keep telling it like it is!

  • Thank you so much for making these videos! Like you I am so tired of all the scare tactics being used to manipulate us all. I have devoted my profile to the cause and anyone who wishes to contact their representatives can easily find ways in which to do so by seeing me. I am going to recommend that people watch your videos as well. We really need to get the truth out there. Thanks.

  • Yes we do. In fact I talk about the bill at work, letting people know if something they have stated is untrue. I've even offered to bring the bill in on disk for anyone to copy if they want, so they know themselves what's true and what isn't. Your channel looks great!

  • well done, boomer1949 !

i'll check out your other video

    thanks to 3slimdog for sharing

  • No thank you...I mean that. The more people who know what is in this bill and can inform people who don't the better. 3slimdog thank you too!

  • The wonderful American people I know, are unable to buy affordable and comprehensive health cover. All it needs to wipe out a family is a debilitating disease-this is an absurditiy from the richest country in history. With real open government this hopefully will come about for you the American people.

  • Boomer, I know next to nothing about this bill. Does it do anything for the 46 million Americans without health insurance? I'll try to download it.

  • yes, it will. The bill is about affordability and availability. The number 46 million is in dispute but hardly matters considering that so many who have insurance find it hard to afford and those without insurance are in the same situation. Therefore the number of people it will help can't really be determined, in my book. No one can be turned down or dropped. There are caps on how much one will be required to pay in premiums, that is based on income.

  • I still need and want HR676 ;^)

  • Just reading the summery of this bill I can see it going no where in Wash. It's been sitting in Committee since Jan. I didn't research if it was on the calender of those committees but with the current House bill moving as fast as it is, I doubt they will introduce a new method to compete with what they have going now. Dame shame too. I would have dance naked in the street if the Insurance Co were out of the picture for good!!

  • Boomer1949 Great idea! ... we should dance naked until HR676 passes

  • Boomer, I am PMing you the all-important "Single Payer by States" AMENDMENT #18 by Dennis Kucinich :

    h t t p : / /edlabor.house. gov/documents/111/pdf/markup/FC/HR3200-AmericasAffordableHealthChoicesActof2009/KucinichERISA. pdf

    "AMENDMENT

OFFERED BY MR. KUCINICH OF OHIO

Add at the end of title II of division A the following

    new subtitle:

    1 Subtitle D—State Innovation

2 SEC. 261. WAIVER OF ERISA LIMITATION; APPLICATION IN3

STEAD OF STATE SINGLE PAYER SYSTEM."

  • I am sorry this amendment wasn't adopted and isn't in the final draft of the House Bill. There is No Subtitle D, under Title II -A, it stops at "C". And there isn't a SEC 261 either.

  • Boomer1949 oh my God, this can't be ... it was adopted by Dennis Kucinich and passed by the House Committee on Education and Labor on July 17th:

"House Committee Allows States to Create Single-Payer Healthcare"

    w w w . afterdowningstreet. org/node/44566

Did the full House knock down Amendment 18, or something ?

  • The process is hard to explain but I'll try. This amendment isn't in the bill as it stands now. It's a stand alone amendment that could be "attached" to the bill at any time during the rest of the process toward becoming law. It has passed the committee, now it has to face the house, senate, conference and president. It's moving with the bill, with any luck, they will merge somewhere along the way.

  • Boomer1949 you explain things good, I get it now! So we have to sit on pins & needles with baited breath.and wait until this Amendment 18 is hopefully merged and then glued to the bill HR 3200.

  • yep! That's about it. What's even more frustrating about this sort of situation, there a many times that the amendments are attached or fail and we won't know until the Bill is a done deal. But I do think that Dennis is one smart puppy to do this amendment this way, seeing how the Bill he introduced is stuck right now in committee. There is a chance with this one.
