I like the remix that edits out Madcon. LOL..Actually I give madcon props for picking a good classic, but it would have been better if they didn't add the extra crap. I've heard a lot of good covers of this song. Maybe this song is hard to fuck up. Either way, next time, don't add anything. Covers are supposed to be similar lyrics with the band's own artistic talents used to make it sound unique. Not adding "flimaflama twingtong a slima-slama wing wong, Yo".

It's because they copied the Frankie Valli version completely. They re-recorded it and did not use any samples; yet copied it note by note and even imitated Frankie's voice. Very, very creative

A cover is when you make your version, recognisable as YOUR version. I'd appreciate it if you explain what to call a cover that maybe 99.99% of the people can't tell from the original. They don't know when it's Madcon and when it's Frankie Valli. Even the rap doesn't help. See the comments on the Adidas commercial video - people are still confusing them, Madcon may have never said it, they just did it, in the easiest way.

How did they exactly fresh it up, apart from the rap elements they use? With 'rap doesn't' help I meant that even it doesn't make it recognisable as their version. That is, apart from the rap, the two versions sound ALMOST THE SAME. People hear the original, where there is no rap, and they still think it's Madcon, not Frankie Valli. And the two songs are 40 years apart in time... Madcon get the credit for sth that's not theirs.
