  • ware can i get it

  • Can GlovePIE work with NR2003, rFactor etc?

  • i wish i knew how to run/install this

  • I would run this but i wouldnt want to say it on accident and screw everything up. Also its another process running and i sure dont need that :)

  • @smoke6696 You have to press a button just like voice chat for this to work.

And you're absolutely right... if you're running on a machine that can't handle multiple programs + iRacing reliably, I wouldn't recommend using it. However, it is worth a shot to see if it really impacts your iRacing experience from a performance standpoint.

Regardless, its there for you if you'd like to give it a go. I shared it because I find it useful and I thought others might see the benefit.

  • @mybludrunsorange 10-4 dont get me wrong its a great program. Great work :)

  • THERE YA GO!

  • someone on iRacing staff has their face in their hands saying "why didn't I think of that"

    Amazing work, two thumbs

  • @cook4ian I'm sure they could implement it a little better and provide a little intelligence into the program as well, but this does work well enough. Quirks, yes, but I like it. It keeps my hands on the wheel.

  • @mybludrunsorange it looks perfect, I cant wait to try it when I get out of work. I'll probably make my own little tweaks to it :D

  • @jlbergqvist They have reacently changed it to 15minutes. :)

  • @N00P13 yeah i checked afterwards, thanks!

  • What if your racing buddies find out your commands & cleverly make you say them during a conversation. lol. All types of mischief to be had. :o)

  • @anttt69

What is the need for external speakers being on if you're using a headset? Sure, it's possible to have a separate mic, but unlikely.

There is, however a way to turn voice activation on and off so the script isn't "listening" at all times. You'd just set up a button press so you can speak your commands and once you let go of the button, the script would stop listening.

  • Superb video... I had a grin watching this!
