also i disagree with greg scharff at three minutes here when he says the permitting process holds business back: i would say it is the high rents that the landlords are trying to get. i guess the market will correct itself however.
Today is Tuesday November 3 Election Day and I notice that only 75 people have seen this video. I wonder overall how well informed the voters are: how do they get their info on the issues and candidates? I hope we get at least 10,000 people at the polls (out of a City of 60,000 roughly)
I was quite disappointed in this event because a group calling itself "Neighborhoods" had no questions about qualitative values or social issues; there were seven questions about money and quantitative matters. Is that all we are as a community? Mark Weiss (that plus the fact they seemed to be avoiding me altogether: I felt jobbed).
