You don't HAVE to play emulators with a keyboard. I got a PS2 controller adapter for my for $5 on eBay. It would have been cheaper, but i got it from a middle-man in the US to get it sooner.I went to Gamestop and got a used DualShock 2 for $15, and now i play all my PC games/emu's with it. It even has rumble support, so i can emulate a rumble pak in PJ64. The included driver CD raised a false alarm in Norton though. However, once installed, Norton realized it was being an overprotective jackass.

Kind of irony that this is about your first FPS at whatever age you are. I think for alot of us, Goldeneye was our first fps at 11 or so.

There's a controller plugin called DarkMan's Input plugin that allows mouse aiming/control, and has presets for most of the N64 FPS games.  I never worked with it too much, but playing this game via keyboard is going to be frustrating in the later levels. Good luck!
