My son was born with the same thing, his scare goes from one side to the other. He had 6 surgeries by 3 months of age. His name is Dakota and he is now turning 20 years old. It has been a struggle and now refused by the US Navy because of the scar, he is doing GREAT! Bless our babies!
I wish I could make a video as such but I am not good with things like this. My little boy who is one now was born with gastroshsis too and I have never even heard of it till they told me what it was. He spent 8 weeks 1 day in the hospital. Three surgerys (had one two months ago for a belly hernia) and he is doing super.
It makes me really happy and feel so blessful to be choosen for this special baby.
i myself was born with gastroschisis, the doctors told my parents that i wasn't going to make it home, but i made it home after 5 surgeries and living 5 months in the hospital. now im 16 and happy with life and thankful for everything. i hope everything is great for your son through out life. :)
