I also founf the ropes waaay over a year before the ting tings. Theyre nothing alike cause I hate the ting tings. Crappy pop music that repeats the same beat throughout there songs. The ropes have structure to there songs, are lyrically better and the music is dark. Really listen to the both before (not just song or 2) before you say something such as "cheating" cause they're nothing alike.
