  • i recently got a magnaflow muffler installed on my e46 328Ci and there are 2 resonators in the coupes. i also deleted the rear resonator and left the front one (didn't want it too loud). it is still fairly quiet so im gonna go back and take out the other one in the front but put a magnaflow resonator in its place to make it flow better but not too much louder. thanks for posting this video, it helped me decide to get my muffler

  • @doodiedooddoodicus Great! glad I could be useful

  • When you did this did you delete all the resonators? I think BMW has 2 in the stock piping.

  • @CrazyWhiteBoy88 There are two resonators in the sedans I believe, but only one in the coupes. Either way I deleted the rear resonator right before the muffler.

  • The muffler is Magnaflow street series number 14816

  • which no.model for magnaflow muffler

  • nice muffler tips

  • which magnaflow is that?

  • Honestly I do not remember, as I did this 2 years ago and never thought to post videos until now. But I don't think I noticed much of a difference, I only did it for the sound.

  • Hi! Did you experience any loss in torque or an increase in fuel consumption? I'm planning to do the same with my 328Ci because I just replaced the OEM rear muffler with a Supersprint performance one, but it's not loud enough.
