Even insurgents in Afghanistan at least have automatic rifles while fighting the Americans - and they still die in huge numbers when fighting the smaller, more advanced force.

The campaign is great but if you want it for Online play I don't suggest it. The community died which is incredibly sad considering it's the best game made by the best Dev's. In my opinion at least.
I hate that infantry are so fragile in the open, laser bombs against houses and light alletry everywhere( in the forests too) they have nowhere to run/hide :(

@kriszium but those are ineffective to Infantry what I use if I find any infantry (when I'm the air) is napalm and chemical weapons - it's more effective. also as long as you stay mobile you can live but yeah it is really tricky.
@TheMilitaryTactics Yeah you got the point but sometimes you can't stay in the forests because you need to run trough a flat, open area (from forest to forest you see) and thats where I got my butt kicked, no matter how big I spread them I had lots of casualities to light alletry strikes. And what can you do when you have to capture a control point? You are a sitting duck... Oh yeah and their armor weakness is okay, but their speed is slow too. It's hard to avoid any strikes with that speed
@kriszium Well what I do (when it's a forest map) is to keep blackhawks (1 or 2) near the main force and use 2 anti-armour,2 rifle sqauds, 1 engineer, and 1 anti-air, and i use the black hawk to get them near the enemy's drop point and make them hold fire in the forest (they will not drag attention) and i act like the info getter until the main battle spots show up and i move the required units there if it's near the woods and only get them to attack when the target is being attacked so that
@kriszium they think it is someone else apart from me - using that method I had total 2,000 points whilst everyone else had about 600, I was loling for a while also through the game get air-dropped infantry near the enemy's path to the battle spots as they can call in artillery. btw I use the Modern warfare mod so some units might be different (i think that it would be the anti-air sqaud)
@kriszium No problem, I have found out the way for all of the category's so just ask, although armour is my favourite cause you can always just use napalm on the forest and chemical warfare.

They have alot better training then Americans do. Even though our technology is better we dont have as good trained men as they do. I forgout this one show name but they were comapring US soldiers and Russian soldeirs. US wone the Russians by technolgy and supplys (Armour, extra grenades.etc) But Russia wone in range fire (Shot more targets in 20 seconds useing same gun) Then both sides had close combat fights with no rules (Russian wone that) Then they had also survival check (Russian won)
@lordgluzman a. close combat almost never happens nowadays. b. any war fought in the future would be won or lost in the air, infantry would be secondary, for if the enemy controls the skies, whatever infantry do is pointless. Therefore the US would crush Russia in a war for even if Russian troops are better trained (which they are not, i don't know what you were watching) American tech and the size of its airforce would easily overpower Russia

I still remember the day i picked up and started this game, and fell immediately in love with it. The love blossomed through to multiplayer, but ever since i stopped playing, not one day goes by without me thinking of the great times i've had playing the game. After all, it was the first game i was good at.

The campaign is great but if you want it for Online play I don't suggest it. The community died which is incredibly sad considering it's the best game made by the best Dev's. In my opinion at least.

I hate that infantry are so fragile in the open, laser bombs against houses and light alletry everywhere( in the forests too) they have nowhere to run/hide :(

@kriszium but those are ineffective to Infantry what I use if I find any infantry (when I'm the air) is napalm and chemical weapons - it's more effective. also as long as you stay mobile you can live but yeah it is really tricky.

@TheMilitaryTactics Yeah you got the point but sometimes you can't stay in the forests because you need to run trough a flat, open area (from forest to forest you see) and thats where I got my butt kicked, no matter how big I spread them I had lots of casualities to light alletry strikes. And what can you do when you have to capture a control point? You are a sitting duck... Oh yeah and their armor weakness is okay, but their speed is slow too. It's hard to avoid any strikes with that speed

@kriszium Well what I do (when it's a forest map) is to keep blackhawks (1 or 2) near the main force and use 2 anti-armour,2 rifle sqauds, 1 engineer, and 1 anti-air, and i use the black hawk to get them near the enemy's drop point and make them hold fire in the forest (they will not drag attention) and i act like the info getter until the main battle spots show up and i move the required units there if it's near the woods and only get them to attack when the target is being attacked so that

@kriszium they think it is someone else apart from me - using that method I had total 2,000 points whilst everyone else had about 600, I was loling for a while also through the game get air-dropped infantry near the enemy's path to the battle spots as they can call in artillery. btw I use the Modern warfare mod so some units might be different (i think that it would be the anti-air sqaud)

They have alot better training then Americans do. Even though our technology is better we dont have as good trained men as they do. I forgout this one show name but they were comapring US soldiers and Russian soldeirs. US wone the Russians by technolgy and supplys (Armour, extra grenades.etc) But Russia wone in range fire (Shot more targets in 20 seconds useing same gun) Then both sides had close combat fights with no rules (Russian wone that) Then they had also survival check (Russian won)

@lordgluzman a. close combat almost never happens nowadays. b. any war fought in the future would be won or lost in the air, infantry would be secondary, for if the enemy controls the skies, whatever infantry do is pointless. Therefore the US would crush Russia in a war for even if Russian troops are better trained (which they are not, i don't know what you were watching) American tech and the size of its airforce would easily overpower Russia

The love blossomed through to multiplayer, but ever since i stopped playing, not one day goes by without me thinking of the great times i've had playing the game. America does have the best and biggest Air force in the world. Go look up the F-22. We've also got stockpiles of weapons designed to fight WW3 against superior numbers. You can have as many men as you want, they can't fight carpet bombing.
