I actually bought this game back in 2004 or so from Electronic Boutique, but it was in a mislabled Armored Core 1 box which I thought I was buying. I was disappointed, because I wanted the game I remembered playing back in the day.
Than I played arena mode, and was hooked.. It was better than playing Virtual On, another favorite of mine, and even fine tuning the core was fun.
And since it was mislabeled, that means I got it at a heavy discount. :D
great play,what type of generator do you use?I beat necron using an average generator,fast humanoid legs and handgun.I preffer handgun because it has a mini stun that once I get a lock on the enemy then I can slowly kill him.Its much more effective than machine gun right?Does anyone have an armored core cd??
Using the WG-MG500 with two magazines is very good set-up. The AR1000 is actually powerful enough to take down heavy weights if all of the shots connect, so an MG500 which has better tracking and higher attack power is a smart choice with the magazines. Along with a Blade you can take down any AC.
Nice evasion skills. Holding down the fire button and dodging isn't easy under pressure. It was also slick how you played with the camera. This is the best vid against Necron I've seen so far.
ajajajajaja sos re NOOB, por lo menos tendrias que estar usando la ametralladora "WA-FINGER", la que tiene 3000 balas, esa que dispara de a 5 balas por tiro, y que parece una mano... NOOB... XD
It takes no skill to win with the finger in AC:PP. Winning with the MG-500 on the other hand does take skill. That AC he's using easily has 2000 boost, which means he could out distance someone with the WA-FINGER and pick them apart. Judging by his skills, he's definitely good enough.

I just recently went back to playing this game after a long time and forgot how fast grenades fly at you in the PS1 games O_O

yeah right i just cheated necron to beat him and fought him in the mine field map.. he cleared out all the mines..LOL!!!!!!
