  • Looking for a decent recording amp - read about this in an old Sound On Sound article. Very interested in trying one out somewhere after hearing your demo! :-) Their website seems to have gone down tho.....? Do Cornford still exist?

  • This is ASAT Special, my favorite G&L Guitar sound and Legacy too!

    Good sound guy!

  • just trying to get a listen to any cornford amp can be a pain considering most people can afford one just as much as that most cant play guitar. thanks for makin a difference!

  • Man - that was a sweet little diddy..ambient, cool...

    BB

  • Nice chords & voice leading going on there man!

    \m/

    Steve

  • Nice playing, nice tone!

  • That's it. The timmy is a total must have. Think it would go ok with a Nova drive?

  • SPINE TINGLING !!! THIS IS !....that riff wtvr we call it, i think its beautiful ! Uvr really inspired me and in 2 minutes no doubt, ile be jammin along with this. 10/10 ! Keep it up

  • Hey, nice playing! I'm thinking of buying that amp, but do you find it any problem not having a effects loop?

  • @SamuellMatthews Thanks for watching...and, no I never found it a problem. I use pedals for all my overdrive and fuzz needs. The amp is actually now solo.

  • That sounds awesome man!

  • nice nice very nice solo!, like it a lot!..just got one of these g&l guitars (legacy special), they are amazing!!!

  • Nice playing.

  • sounds a little like My Morning Jacket. I dig it though. The timmy sounds awesome!

and plus is it ok if i turn this into a song for my gf???

  • Which delay setting are you using on the DL-8?

  • Beautiful song and wonderful sound!

  • Thanks a lot dude.

  • very nice-great sound out of that combo of guitar+amp!

  • Great melody, great feel. U wanna job, we're looking for a lead/core guitarist ??

    East Anglia indie rock.

    Rob.

I've got a Tribute ASAT Special myself.

  • well played brother

  • If you think this sounds good, you want to hear a PRS SEll Soapbar through the Cornford Roadhouse likewise! Great combinations....

  • G&L ASAT classics make me fill my pants with semen.

  • Except, this is an ASAT special, not classic.

  • great songwriting and playing

  • Great tone man your tune reminds me of the Pink floyd's blue sky but i had question what tele model is that with soap bar's it sounds great.

  • Nice one!

    Cornford owner here too (Roadhouse)...

Greets (as my German mate always ends his msgs with !)

  • Agh my mouse slipped and I thumbed down! Argh!

Will someone please give this guy a thumbs up? I feel bad now :(

  • dude ,u should be famous,soulfull music!

  • Actually bro, this is better than a "Tele" this is like a super Telecaster, like Telecaster on steroids ha. But it was made by Leo Fender so that's why it looks a lot like one...

  • Nicely done :D

  • Nice to hear someone with a musical soul rather than a copycat twiddler :)

  • Thanks a lot man

  • Dude that was killer......beautiful song. I have never heard it, is it a original?

I would love to play that song and put a soft lead to it.

  • Thanks man. Yeah, it's just something I came up with..

  • whic tim od do you have? sounds really transparent!

  • Dude , you Rock! Great sound!

  • B E A UTIFUL ! Thats what I call nice melody-chord improvisation.

  • Fantastic- I'm a fellow Harlequin user and you get a great tone. Superb technique too!

  • Thanks very much Phil. Harlequins are great little amps.

  • Sounds nice, I have that amp, and a couple of strats, and a boss me20, do you thiunk single pedals would be better than an all in one soloution ? maybe a boss delay or analog delay for this amp ?

  • I have always preferred single pedals to multi-fx units. But whatever works best for you man. In my experience single pedals add more 'personality' to a sound, digital multi-fx tends to sound a bit sterile to my ears. I also prefer analog delays, for much the same reason.

  • Really great!

  • Thanks a lot. :)

  • Also what song is this, did you make it up? Sounds great

  • Just something I came up with and then decided to record shortly after. Thanks very much.

  • What settings are using for the analog delay, I'm having a hard time getting a sound I like?

    Thx

  • It's not an analog delay. I was just using about 500ms of delay with fairly long repeats.

  • very nice. get much hum from those pickups? p90s are they? i'm looking to pair this pedal with an isp decimator for my roadhouse strat. texas specials are pretty hot and give me a little bit of hum. very nice vid!

  • Hardly any hum at all. My favourite pickups.

  • hows the dL-8 for ya? wud ya happen to know how it compares against a boss dd3?

  • Outstanding tone!

I found this video 'cause I'm totally GASed for a timmy, and this is leading me straight to the purchase.

    Thumbs up!

  • Thanks dude. It's a fantastic overdrive pedal.

  • Much much nicer than the DD-3..
