This is amazing. I adore Yngwie. I sing for a death metal/hardcore band in the States, and this is all of my inspiration I've been listening since I was 9 (I'm 27). I meditate to his work. I'm a huge fan of the earlier stuff, but it's all good. Would beg for a chance to sing for him, granted I growl and it's totally non-conducive to his style, but he is a staple of my every day regimin. And you are so right VGC6.

I think this is more interesting than the original. When you add string instruments and woodwinds it seems to add more elements to the song and give it a more "epic" feel. Both version are still mind-blowing.

He couldnt get his compositions heard unless it was done in a Rock format, with Rock instruments and Rock sensibilities, meanwhile if you break down what is really being played, it silences everything around it.

if yngwie found out that his piece would be played by the japanese philharmonic orchestra when he was say 17, i wonder what could have happened if he had known 30 years prior and what it could have done for his career because the 90's almost ruined him. i think he has/had the potential back then and still probably does but it would be great if he could still come out with a song like this or fugue.
