You know, as far as video games turned to movies go, this one really was not that bad at all. The backstory was kinda pooped on a little, but I think the whole 'clone' thing would've been a little too ridiculous for audiences to accept (and frankly, wasn't important). But it had good action, an interesting (if confusing) story, and a cute girl's tits.

Best movie? God no. A decent movie? Yes.

I actually never liked the emphasis in the games where 'Silent Assassin' rewards you for being a ghost and seems to imply that the only 'real' way to play is to basically be a white bald ninja... I disagree with the 'run and gun' approach where people can just kill their way through the level, but I also disagree with being punished for killing other guards.

Besides, getting Silent Assassin on most levels required metagaming and luck (like that fucking snow mission).

This was really a good movie, but the best Best of all in this genre remains the Bourne trilogy. Bourne is the best, for many reasons:

1) No head barcode

2) It took three movies to show all their prowess, and Bourne was lost his memory.

3) Bourne is a far best drive. Does not need a special BMW.

4) Although Bourne does not use sword, he is much better with martial arts.

5) Bourne can kill with bic pen, hunt shotgun, pistols, with his hands, ...

6) Bourne MADE SEX with his partner. Woot!

I mean just watch the movie and look at how Olyphant walks.. Just his walk... I thought I was playing Hitman: Contracts for a second.

And those of you saying "The movie missed the point of the game"... How bored would you be watching him slowly going through the motions of an Assassination... Watching briefings, prepping gear etc. Some missions in that game took me longer than the movie runtime for God's sake. Suck it up.
