Also how can people judge whether someone is suicidal because of 'depression' or because of ....well, its always depression...but when is it 'justified depression' that is apparently enough to justify assisted suicide?
I've been suicidal and people told me my feelings were irrational and that I have things to live for. That's only because I look normal and look like I should be able to function properly and keep myself alive.
I've never known exactly what to think of euthanasia. Seeing people being treated badly/abused/degraded by nursing staff and carers, if I couldn't do anything to get out of that situation then I'd want to die.
It is all about choice plain and simple - quite funny here and there though!
