  • That car cannot handle pressure!!! got so damaged in 10 minutes from merely kicking down!!! That is why EVO and BRABUS are the two BOSSES!!! they can handle pressure! the 911 Gt porsche is cool too!!! twin disc copper clutch! It takes a lot of Money and work to make a Civic run like a 4G63 or a FQ400 MR. Cheaper to just buy an evo!!!

  • @amitagoberdhan - That's because Honda's don't need to make a lot of pressure to be efficient. If you think boost pressure alone is what it takes to make a car perform, I'm sorry to say, you don't know as much about turbochargers as you think.

  • @macross40 u guys were the ones only raising the boost on ur civic (wanna be evo) like if u gone dotish or something so don't tell me about boost pressures. get a gt r or a good car. ur civic is tired- just face it!!! and it cannot handly pressure. what is the sense in modifying crap? So you'll get modified crap. I have 2 civics, a supercharged benz amg and a M6. Check out some of my videos. My next car to buy is the 4g63 EVO!!!!!! Amen!!!

  • @amitagoberdhan - This is borderline hilarity. i've been working with turbochargers as a Garrett engineer for over 15 years. I'm just so glad that its those from the public like yourself that is not allowed in our facilities. I simply believe you just wouldn't have the IQ to understand how this all really works.   • @TurboGSR96 ive got a built 1g dsm, tdo6 20g, e85, tuning with jackal. should be ready for the spring and import shootout in ohio as well as buschur shootout at norwalk. thats my goal anyway. my side project is a k20 crx budget build, gutted street car. thats why i have interest in honda videos such as these

  • Actually a 750hp civic will be in the 9's at over 150mph where that 2 ton pile of rust probably wouldnt even touch 135mph with 500hp.

  • @ipwinyou peak hp means very little when you don't see it till redline! but then its all about what you the individual like & your plans for that car/engine. happy modding :)

    FYI 800+hp in a 2400-2500lb Honda is 155+mph trap easy....

  • I'm not big on the honda motor build ups any more because everyone is doing it, but that is a solid motor. Very nice runs! Nice and clean looking and very progressive curve up and stays more or less flat in the upper RPMs. Excellent work!

    Question though, did you use 9.7 CR pistons because you are using C16 all the time?

    Get that tranni fixed and take her to the track :)

  • I didn't say I hated them. They are still putting out nice numbers on the dynos. As for the domestic motors, I am kind of leaning towards the same thoughts. Everyone has stuffed a 5.0 or 5.7/6.0 into something. They are impressive motors too. I am not a import hater either, I like what both sides of the fence have to offer. No one really at this point in time has anything new and exciting that turns my crank... lol
