Reviewers often say that the PC version is better, mainly cuz of the graphics. There are some slight combat differences as well tho. But for me, i don't like PC gaming, and prefer gaming lazy in the couch, so i got the Xbox version.

np theres an ice one that does the same thing but cold dmg instead, if you go down the frost tree for mages. frost and fire is pretty much the same, as well as lightning, they all have cone of ice, fire, ligjtning, all have major mdg at the end..blizzard, tempest etc.

it has nothing to do with wow or oblivion. Combat is tactic based with the option to pause at any moment and issue commands. Baldur's Gate fans will feel right at home. Story wise its deep as mass effect. gameplay wise skill trees are kind of like diablo with the ability to pick melee or all caster oriented abilities. Crafting items and so on

ya its still pretty good, pc is better because you don't have to bring up the radial menu to go through your abilities and spell and ya you can move the camera around you can't have a completely top down view like in baldurs gate though

Ya it would be a good choice, for me though i love FPS's so i would go with Modern Warfare 2 but if you like RPG's more then Dragon Age is definitely worth it. It is free roam not as much as oblivion though. Your not forced into doing any one thing though and every town or area you go to you can go everywhere you want on the map.

ya there are a lot of different armors and weapons i don't know about the armor but you can customize the weapons so that they have elemental bonus damage and other abilities like boost your strength etc. I would think you can because im playing as a rogue and i can you a bow if i want but me specialty is dual wielding swords and daggers.
