I love how everyone doubted our freshman and then they went out there and just played like they know how. JPW was barely even mentioned before the game and he did great, 22-30 for 180 yards. I think he could have had over 200 pass yards, but Saban decided to just run it and wear down Clemson. We definenlty controled the game. We had possesion for just over 41 minutes, that's dominance.

I wouldn't leave out Auburn when talking about the West. We were literally 2 seconds from winning the west last season (LSU scored on the last play) and we have gotten much better since then. We hardly lose anyone and will have both a stronger offense and stronger defense. Bama had a great recruiting class but you can't base the entire future on one class. It is simply a good start to trying to compete with Auburn again.
Auburn will have a hard time this season. Its defense will help but the two QB system will take some time. BAMA's defense is much better than last season and offense is just above average but will get better. Pittsburg gave insight this season on how easy it is to shut down the Spread. 17 schools such as Georgia, Florida, Alabama, OSU, Nebraska, and others have secured the game tape from the WV vs Pitt game. I just do not see the skill on the AU offense this season.
Auburn got a good defense they lost groves and pat lee thats pretty big losses but they will struggle on offense they don't even know who their QB is going to be and they have struggled on the passing game last few years so we'll see how much they can rely solely on their running game.

Man, the future definitely looks bright. We have a killer schedule with games with Clemson in Atlanta, UT in Knoxville, UGA in Athens, and LSU in Baton Rouge, not to mention AU amd MSU in T-town. I believe that Saban will work his magic and get us back to national prominence.

NCAA rules are that you can only take 25 players per class. Alabama took 32, so what 7 players will be cut, and are any of them these better players, i assume some will be cut because of injury or grades, so whats the fans take on how they will get it down to the 25 ?

Good question. I was told that they could "gray shirt" some them. Not sure, but I'm sure that they will get the best for what they need, especially wide receiver and DB. We have a shot to beat Alabama. . . we will see if auburn can run the table until the Georgia game (which I don't see happening unless there are dramatic changes to the offense). I love how everyone doubted our freshman and then they went out there and just played like they know how. JPW was barely even mentioned before the game and he did great, 22-30 for 180 yards. I think he could have had over 200 pass yards, but Saban decided to just run it and wear down Clemson. We definenlty controled the game. We had possesion for just over 41 minutes, that's dominance.

Cody is a beast. Can you say double teams? I heard that he was a beast, but seeing him doing it on TV-OMG...I'm so proud that our players left it on the field and didn't give into the hype of the #9 ranking given to Clemson. Saban is a great coach, the shroud of secrecy with practice paid off. Clemson had not a clue and they couldn't stop the run, which absolutely set up the play action pass. Nick Walker was phenomenal as well. The future looks bright and I'm looking forward to more!!

Jerrell Harris is coming on real well and is expected to start by the middle of the season as did Rolando McClain. I wouldn't leave out Auburn when talking about the West. We were literally 2 seconds from winning the west last season (LSU scored on the last play) and we have gotten much better since then. We hardly lose anyone and will have both a stronger offense and stronger defense. Bama had a great recruiting class but you can't base the entire future on one class. It is simply a good start to trying to compete with Auburn again.

Auburn will have a hard time this season. Its defense will help but the two QB system will take some time. BAMA's defense is much better than last season and offense is just above average but will get better. Pittsburg gave insight this season on how easy it is to shut down the Spread. 17 schools such as Georgia, Florida, Alabama, OSU, Nebraska, and others have secured the game tape from the WV vs Pitt game. I just do not see the skill on the AU offense this season.

Auburn got a good defense they lost groves and pat lee thats pretty big losses but they will struggle on offense they don't even know who their QB is going to be and they have struggled on the passing game last few years so we'll see how much they can rely solely on their running game.

Now this looks like a place for Alabama fans to enjoy the number class in the Nation. Great Video and wonderful play by the 2008 recruits. Expect all except for two to qualify. The Alabama Recruiting Class of 2008 has made Alabama fans very happy. Florida and Georgia had very good classes once again. The East is down to only two teams, Georgia and Florida. The West is down to two teams, Alabama and LSU. It will be a great year in 2008.

32 of the best players in the country. Its no surpise why others come over here and snoop around. ROLL TIDE ROLL. Coach Saban and Staff have done a wonderful job. He and his staff work 365 days a year and that is the difference in other schools and their recruiting. Man, the future definitely looks bright. We have a killer schedule with games with Clemson in Atlanta, UT in Knoxville, UGA in Athens, and LSU in Baton Rouge, not to mention AU amd MSU in T-town. I believe that Saban will work his magic and get us back to national prominence.

Bama fans, ignore aw4au12. He is a boy, 14 years old. He posts on a lot of the 'Bama video posts and he's an empty wagon (making plenty of noise). rb676 and I have been trying to give him some guidance, like doing his homework, taking out the trash, doing the dishes, things that little boys should be doing. Don't worry about posts after 10:00 p.m., he'll probably be in his bed, snuggled up with his nice, warm, blanky and sucking his thumb.

NCAA rules are that you can only take 25 players per class. Alabama took 32, so what 7 players will be cut, and are any of them these better players, i assume some will be cut because of injury or grades, so whats the fans take on how they will get it down to the 25 ?

Yeah true but they won't have to cut them can't they redshirt them? Either way they gonna dominate real soon It's something that Bama fans haven't experienced since Gene Stallings left. I'm just glad that Saban is able to attract all the top players from high school.

Good question. I was told that they could "gray shirt" some them. Not sure, but I'm sure that they will get the best for what they need, especially wide receiver and DB. I can tell you one thing, August won't get here fast enough. I think that this is the start to get our program back to the elite status that it once was.
