Forget statistics and common sense for a second and take the anthropology view of this. Most pothead's are idiots and should just drop off the face of the earth. If the death penalty could have a good use (Seeing as I'm from Canada) it should be that anyone caught using (not in possession of, because it could be planted on you) weed should just be killed and then there would be no more drug problems (since most drug addicts start out on weed anyway).

Something to think about is that my school is 70-80% potheads and under age drinkers.

But still i think that the criteria to getting a gun should be tougher. in NL one must be a member of a shooting club for at least a year and have a permission from the local authorities. I don't know what it's like in the US but it's so easy to get a gun there. That should be take care of... I see now that your a responsible gun owner :) I'm a responsible weed smoker :)!!!
