This is actually my 3rd time going through this whole video. Honestly, I find that this video is a WONDERFUL representation that no matter how old you are, the magic of these games can still be brought out. I don't know about you guys, but instead of "a nerd who needs to grow up" I see a guy who just wants to have that experience we all had while playing these games. I hope he continues to make a lot more videos such as this one. Great video, Zel.

This is awesome :p I loved watching the Platinum Quest when it was first on your channel. Watched since the very beginning xD. It's a shame we never got an Azure Flute event for Platinum though. Oh well. Can't wait for the Johto and America quests! :D

If you're talking about Fire Red, that's totally different from Platinum. I had to catch Pokemon in Fire Red, and I didn't think I had to do that when I started.

At the end of your Platinum PC, after the living dex, there's a bunch of extra pokemon. I know the reasons why all of them are there apart from the Magikarp (Bibarel from Pokedex phail, shinys you caught and events you attended). Were you trying to get a level 100 one but got bored and settled for 80?

@I've been trying to do the same, my best was 80 too (now an 81 Gyarados). I've been looking around the internet but I can't find the chances but I don't think it's 1/100 for each level because most of the levels I seem to see around 40/50, which indicates to me the levels in the middle have a better chance.

At 1:30:16, there's a gradually inclined "Ramp Porch" that leads from the outside to Admin Josh's Basement. Since the Basement is halfway below ground level, an external door leading to the basement would require a downwards ramp or stairway. The camera is in Josh's Basement, looking outside through the window of the door.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH I'm amazed at how you were able to upload it in its entirety! This was one of my favorite series to watch on youtube. It just kind of added newness to the old Pokemon games in my opinion. I find it much more exciting to watch the things you do on your quest instead of just filming the DS screen the whole time. Before I rewatch it, is there any new footage?

I now understand the work it takes for one of these quests, and I must say congrats for basically finishing it!

Now that I know/remember the badge thing in FRLG I might LP it with a different badge order ;D Of course this is the year of my quest and ranger 3 walkthrough, maybe next year? This makes me want to play Colo/XD again, but this time complete Colo and purify all Pokes on both games. I recommend Ranger 3 so far…although if you want the wi-fi events, you need to buy the game and download the ranger net missions before you start a file before Jan 11, 2011 when the events end.

I recommend that when you declare a quest, you should see it through.

Of course, that's why you have to think and plan carefully by yourself before you declare a quest so that you won't regret it.

I will admit, I made the mistake of declaring "Pokemon Red The Movie" far too early, but I will eventually see it through, because I don't give up on things so easily.

What I mean to say is, you might feel a different way a year from now, so I wouldn't declare anything so soon.
