la interpretaron muuuuuy libremente, no parece tango para nada. Yo la estoy preparando y sé que cuesta pero acá le quitan la esencia, las acentuaciones son raras y los cambios de ritmo son demasiado abruptos

What's all this fuss about the kitschy backdrop and exaggerated, inadequate body-movemements? Seems to me an inappropriate want of appreciation! Velocity, timing, dynamics, sound-production, breathing and phrasing, and the interplay of these two excellent artists are not merely flawless: The crystal-clear guitar and the velvet flute deserve highest approval. Fantastic, really amazing.

What gets me is how exaggerated the movements are between them, especially the flute player. She oversells, and it turns it a bit too comical.

They are having a great time and they are communicating. This is something that is sorely missed in most performances.

I agree that performances should have movement in it, but it should be natural movement. You can tell (especially on the cues where she bends her knees and where she moves like she's on a stairstepper) that they are trying way too hard to force the motion.

To the vast majority that perform and teach performance, "Much Drama" does not mean robotic and stale. The amount of rubato here is very appropriate and common to the music of the Tango. It is very tasteful and not exaggerated in the least. I am most certain Astor Piazzolla would have been pleased.

My wife and I just attended their outdoor concert in Kelowna last night. They were fantastic. The concert was held at Mission Hill Winery with a backdrop of Okanagan Lake and a gorgeous sunset. Two nighthawks danced in the sky above them for most of the concert.
