I have some problems short hopping out of shine, does anyone have any suggestion?

How do you shorthop so consistently? Is it really just a matter of practice? It's one of the main things that I'm having trouble getting down with Fox, and it makes fucking people up rather hard, when you can't shffle well.

To do the drillshine @ 1:18 you use the analog or the x/y button to jump? because you make it really fast, and also do you use the c stick or the A button to Dair?

I want to improve my skills with fox but I make a lot of mistakes and full hop instead of short hop :(

@GodheadsLamentX East vs West was quite close, and the East Coast has about 112,000,000 people. West coast has about 49,000,000 (wikipedia cited, sure, but probably not too far off.) Bigger pool=more players=more top tier players.
