I tried this and it worked so good! FOR PEOPLE WITH NATURALLY WAVY/CURLY HAIR:

my hair is naturally curly/ wavy and every time i brush it out it gets poofy. It took me 9 pens to do my hair so use alot smaller sections if u have very thick wavy and curly hair like mine. And also clip it up and put the cap on the pen so you dont stab your self in sleep lol! But i did it after i got out of the shower about 10 min in towel and about 5-10 min air drying and make sure its still damp. Wake up to curls!

Thankyou so much for teaching me this!!! I do it to my friends all the time and they always scream in pain :P I'm known for being the pencil curling girl at my school. If you want looser curls would you use smaller sections and less hair? I usually do it with at the most five sections on my friend with thick hair but everyone else just three. I love this video and i think my friends will love that i found another way of doing it without giving them pain. Thanks so much!! :)

I like heat-free tutorials because 1) my hair still burns even with "heat-protectant", 2) I have yet to buy my own straightener/curler because 3) not all products work on my hair for some reason. They don't sell the brand that worked on me anymore ): Your FAQ also answered some questions I had with my old method. I would tie my hair up and let them go in the morning and they would be wayy too curly/frizzy! Amazing video!

hey, my hair gets really tangled really easily and frizzes up a lot even in cold weather. what do you do to your hair to make it lie flat and smooth all day with no tangles/frizzes? p.s. i don't own a hair straightener or anything...

I have naturally straight hair so I don't have to worry about frizz and such, but you can try to use an anti-frizz hair serum to see if that'd help. I use the one from Garnier to smooth my ends :D
