  • Does anybody remember a slightly different ending to the theatrical version of Phantasm (1979)? My brother and I remember a slightly different ending when we first saw Phantasm in the theaters.

    After Michael gets pulled through the mirror up in his room, it cut back to Reggie as he was playing the guitar. Reggie stopped playing for a moment, looked up at the ceiling (listening to the ruckus), then he smiled and then quietly went back to playing his guitar. Then the credits rolled. Anybody?
