  • Perfect! Nice touch with the news print. cheers!

  • I'm gonna try this yummy recipe this weekend but instead of regular potatos I'm gonna use sweet potatos :)

  • @ADeliciousMess Hey you're the second person on this comment thread that is making this with sweet potoatoes. That's awesome! I love sweet pototoes.

  • OMG looks delicious I'm going to make this ;)

  • @RuralLivingNNV Thanks for watching. It was really easy and very quick to make.

  • Thanks for sharing, I hadn't thought of this but I will have to try it now!

  • @whitegirlfang I hadn't thought of it either until I saw the recipe on the bisquick box for oven fried chicken.

  • This looks amazing! I love how it's baked and not fried, and I love the plating too :)

  • @AsianCookingmadeEasy Thanks, even newspaper can look good next to those crispy fish and chips. lol

  • Looks really good! I like the "wrapped" presentation too!

  • @SmokeyGoodness Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support.

  • @vogelklein11 Thanks for the comment.

  • Those look very Irish Anne! Really like the Uk presentation style! You wouldn't happen to have a gluten free Guiness back there would you?

  • @MrEZCooking Now that's what I'm missing, the beer. I can always count on you for the appropriate beverage pairing. Cheers my friend. ;)

  • @EZGlutenFree If I ever get to Philly you cook the fish and chips and I will bring the beer!......:)

  • @MrEZCooking Sounds like a plan.

  • this looks fantastic! Lovely presentation Anne! I want some! :D

  • OldBay... I love that stuff. It is great for blackening as well. Triple dipped fish, I bet they are crunchy. It just so happens that I have some Tilapia and sweet taters handy. Guess what I am making for lunch... Thanks for the idea.

  • @fatlossbydesign Awesome Sterling. I just love sweet potatoes. They have alot more vitamins than regular potatoes too. The fish turned out very crunchy. I was actually a little surprised how well it worked out.

  • Mmmm ! That looks good. 1 word of caution though, be sure to read the label on "Non-stick" sprays, some of them contain or have come in contact with machines that also process wheat (e.g. Non-Stick bakers spray which has Wheat flour in it to line baking pans and muffin tins to ease removal of the finished baked goods). Just an FYI ; ) I would've never had known this until I started reading the labels of some of the products we used prior to my Fiance' being diagnosed with Celiac.

  • @WatchToddPattison Thanks for the word of advice about the nonstick sprays. I am aware of the ones with flour in them and my brand is ok but i need to be more clear when instructing the viewers. Gluten hides all over the place. I was glutened with soy sauce a few times before learning that it was made from wheat. The soy sauce in those tiny plastic packages doesn't always have proper labeling and I was just starting out. Thanks again.

  • @EZGlutenFree Having someone I Love diagnosed with Celiac just made cooking more of a challenge . I like a good challenge and really reading those labels is a big part of how we shop now. I didn't know that either about soy sauce until my last shopping trip and I saw the Gluten free version there on the shelf. It just caught my eye as I was walking down the isle. Your recipes and tips have been very helpful and are much appreciated.
