    what does bholenath means specifically?

    My apreciations to anyone who answers :)

  • @hipnosapista

    Bhola = Innocent.

    Nath = Lord/Father/Master/Protector

    Bholenath could therefore mean the lord and protector of the innocent.

  • @hipnosapista : bholenath means the innocent and who can be easily won upon. thats y shiv is also callled ashutosh means who gives prize in very little devotion.

  • @hipnosapista : Bholenath means Kind God , its a name for Lord Shankar(Shiva) ,Even though Lord Shankar is considered to be very angry but for its devotees he's always ready to help & kind, hence called so..

  • Spindw: The gesture Lord Shiva is making is the Shivalinga mudra and symbolizes charging energy, freedom from disease, and the ultimate creative force; if you do a search for it, you'll find lots of pictures and more information about it.

    I hope this helps. Om Namah Shivaya. :)

  • Lord Shiva is making a gesture with his hands while he meditates. Could someone tell me its significance? Om Namah Shivaya

  • @spindw im not 100% sure...but i knw that they are called 'mudras' *spelling*

    the first one seen at :28 i believe is known as shiv mudra and the only other one he is doing is dyaan or gyaan mudra...like i said im not 100% sure =( i believe it has to do with the energy with in the mudra and meditation. hope it helps a little

  • @spindw that gesture is called SHIVA LINGAM, it is the sign of Shiva, a sign of manliness too...

  • @spindw : this gesture symbolises ek ling swaroop . which means he is one and only in himself

  • Princegoutham - let anyone worship any GOD and GODESS. Don't impose ur views u narrow minded Tamil DK bigot.

  • Your words do not aspire to the Sanatana Dharm ways. Please be tolerant to others views and you shall be blessed by Brahman.

  • God is One There is No avatars of God Avatar or incarnation specifically means the idea that God takes a birth in a certain family, fulfills the intended purpose, and then gives up that form ,GOD SEND HIS ANGLES OR CHOSEN ONES or God appears He doesn't Take any Human Forms SO Only LORD SHIVA is the ULTIMATE God he has bee n in all Yogas,And Sri Rama,Krishna ,Vishnu all worshipped Him and we got Proof for that He sent all of them to protect the World Har Har Maha Dev

    Om Nama Shivya

  • God does not take avtar???? what are you talking about. According to Dasam Granth written by Sri Guru Gobind Sinh Ji, God does take avtar. Bhai Gurdas Ji writes in his Bani Jug Jug Avtara. Guru Gobind Singh Ji said Nanak Nirankar. Meaning Nanak is God. You have to do research on avtars properly. you must have to read your puranas properly.

  • WONDERFUL.ITS BRILLIANT
