Sometimes big events like this will MAKE bands do lipsyncs, they have no choice. I'm sure Mew had to show up to collect several awards and what other danish band could they get that rocks this hard? So they had to lipsync, if they could have played live it would have been awesome and would have had a bunch of weird new added parts i'm sure.

@Cidique Well, U are not alone, if u listen to Death Metal & Mew..I actually saw Cannibal Corpse last summer. We were 70.000 that enjoyed a Best of the Best, with CC. I love Mew, though their newer material is missing some of the energy from Frengers. The distortion is missing a bit on the guitar & the are songs almost too complex. They need hits like this. But it's ok to love a good song, no matter if it's Morbid Angel or Mew. U are not a whimp because of that..Thumps up bro!! But Metal is #1

Listen to it. It is pretty obviously a note for note reproduction that has the same EXACT mix as the album version. The reason for that is because it is a playback. I'm not saying that Jonas can't hit those notes or that the band can't pull of it's own material. On the contray, Mew is amazing if you look at other live videos. However, NO BAND ever produces a perfect live rendition of studio material, period. There is always a "live" quality to the music This doesn't have it.
