i love your magazine...im fascinated with all the weird stuff in New Jersey, in life actually. Ive been to a lot of the places youve guys hav shared with us. I mostly go to all the abandoned places that u guys talk about, mainly the asylums. I consider myself an urban explorer and love just wandering around those places. the thing that sucks is that all the ppl that abuse their priviliges to go there and set it on fire/vandilize it ruins it for the rest of us...still great job guys!
all we have in south jersey is the atco ghost, blue hole, and the jersey devil like u said. but they aint even that weird, and no one ever sees jd anymore. everything good happens up north
Those reporters at the desk, after the first segment were Ridiculously, Awkward. The second segment took you guys way more seriously. Gravity road? where is that guys? Great vid like always, it was a very good chronicling. When i shot my film at demons alley it was already gone but, shh shh i got one of those painted on windows from about 3 years ago.
I wish i got to go on the tour. You guys should put out a Weird NJ Road Map so peopel can plan out weird road trips. I definetly want to go to more weird places but there is not alot in Waretown.
No, that was a one of a kind adventure. The tour company wanted us to keep doing it, but the only way we could pull it off was if nobody (including the driver) knew where we would be going ahead of time. If somebody had found out where we were headed that day we would have been ambushed by law enforcement for sure! Then we'd probably be riding on a white school bus wearing bright orange jumpsuits and carrying garbage bags.
We told everyone before they existed the bus, "Now remember, this is a public street, so you're allowed to walk around--just don't go in any of the buildings." Three minutes later everyone had disappeared into the houses. Then I blew a whistle and we all climbed on the bus and sped away before the Watershed Authorities arrived.
Hey guys, been a big fan for years. Just wanted to say that your story is quite impressive. From a local newsletter for friends to a nation-wide phenomenon! Way to go Mark and Mark! Just keep in mind... NJ is always the weirdest.
Sorry about the poor audio and picture quality of some of these clips folks--most of it was transfered from crappy old VHS tape. Remember, this stuff is from back in the day--way before the digital age.

There's NOTHING in Bergen County, which is North Jersey... I mean there are some things, but they're either gone or too far from my house.

WOW, they let a whole bus of people stop and roam around at Demon's Alley!
Wonderful ending to the video also, nearly fell of my chair.
