  • Funny, the original lead singer G. C. Cameron sang this whole sung himself; this new Spinners line up uses two singers to accomplish the same thing. That said, they do an excellent job in delivering this classic.

  • The Spinners was one of the greatest groups in the 60s and 70s. Perhaps not up there with the Temps or 4 Tops in record sales, they had some great music..Too bad all those old folks listening to "It's A Shame" cant get up and show some emotion..Looks like a Senior Citizen Home.....

  • Frank Washington and Harold "Spike" Bonhart have replaced Billy Henderson and John Edwards...It seems that the Motown groups have gone to other lesser known Philly groups like The Futures to flesh out their groups as members get older and may not be with us. Frank is from the Futures as was Harry McGilberry. You may also remember that Ron Tyson was from another Philly group called the Love Committee (they recorded a great song called Heaven Only Knows)...I'm glad that SOMEONE does these songs

  • Frank has left and Charlton washing ton is in. No relation I don't believe. There's a 2008 interview here somewhere. You got Charlton, Bobby, Spike, Pervis(RIP) and Henry. Who replaces Pervis is anyone's guess. And John will probably never perform live again, sadly enough. So much time has gone by.

  • Can somebody tell me who the lead singer is here?

  • The three original Spinners did the best they could with the replacements. Phil Wynne was in a class by himself. John Edwards was great. It would have been nice if GC Cameron had come back and stayed but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Look at the Four Tops. Theo sounds nothing at all like Levi and never will. But the songs need to be sung.............

  • They should reunite with GC Cameron, from what I've seen here on youtube he still sounds great.

  • You're right FAMU. Its all part of life and music. We're all getting older. Lucky we have YouTube to keep those original videos alive. And like you said, someone has to step up to keep this great Spinner institution going.

  • u know i really don't want to be rude but this is one of my favorite groups hands down. but were did this cat come from? i mean he's not even in the mighty spinners class. this is really sad i'm sorry!

  • You should be happy that somebody stepped up to take the role to be member of The Spinners. People get old and sick that's life. It's obvious that you have not seen other groups from the early 70's compared to now ex. The Stylistics, The Temptations, The Delfonics. Lots of groups have younger people.
