They should stick a Vacation world in the game.A world where their is only dialog choices and the occassional love scene

You can order food,swim,sleep,and date

You do NOT have to visit that world but it would be a welcomed break for those who just want to enjoy the social aspect of the game.

I whole-heartedly support that idea. Problem is, that would probably break up their whole 'dark-theme' they have going. Unless it's like the Darkwood Bordello from Fable: The Lost Chapters, nice place to relax, but definitely not a cheery place.

I know people are intitled to their opinions, and I mean no disrespect, but I sure hope they do not waste disc space for multiplayer in this game. The first Mass Effect is an amazing cinematic game, and the second should be the same. Please no multiplayer.

i dont know, co op can be a really good experience. but if its not there then im not going to curl up in a ball and cry, i just think it could be good, rather than no mulitplayer at all.

I never thought about co-op, but that would be impossible or extremely difficult to implement into a game like this.

BioWare is an incredible developer. Mass Effect, KOTOR, Dragon Age:Origins, Jade Empire, Neverwinter Nights, Baldurs Gate! How much complete epic awesomeness can you possibly fit into one developer??? Now Mass Effect 2 is on it's way, plus The Old Republic....give these guys medals!!!!

Agreed. I haven't played everything from Bioware but KOTOR I, Jade Empire and ME1 were excellent gaming experiences that dominated my life when they came out for some time. ME2 and Dragon Age are guaranteed to be more of the same, I can tell. The RPG is my favorite gaming genre and Bioware is simply the master of telling a story and providing a superb gaming experience in that medium.

I doubt it, all promotional things and trailers feature the Male shepard with the default apperance, and the canon storyline is Male so they stick with that. It actually looks like Lizbeth from the feros planet, check out the resemble on the masseffect wiki. Or it could just be someone else.

at 1:14, lifepods exerting from the Normandy. So you won't get to be on the Normandy for the whole game, it is evacuated after attacks from the enemy, whoever that may be.

The attack on the Normandy probably has something to do with Cerberus. Since Cerberus likes to see human expansion only, maybe they get pissed at Shepard for having aliens on his ship, but who knows.

No, it is not Cerberus. Shepard works together with Cerberus to save humanity in Mass Effect 2. you can read that on the official ME2 webpage

I know about that already. But Joker says "it's not the Geth" so it could be some alien race that are pissed at them, or it could be a Reaper, or it could be Cerberus, or something like that. I wouldn't call Cerberus all that trustworthy anyway.

sounds interesting especially because the Turians are scepticle and in ME1 there was alot of prejudice against humans. If you made a certain choice at the end of ME1 I can see why they'd want to stop humanity.

I suspect that it could be a 'Vorcha' ship or something - the new species announced on the Mass Effect 2 website. On the profile it says they're extremely hostile.

yeah but they didnt evolve for millions of years, I think they arent an intelligent species but just employed by other alien races for their evil causes, just like the Krogan where for Saren, though the Krogan where advanced... Vorcha are just tools used to try and stop you.

You'll probably fight the Vorcha in ME 2 dude. The thing is, I was reading an article and they said they got to play the part where the ship is attacked, but they didn't know what attacked it. They were told it is a completely new force in the galaxy. Apparently also, that scene is the end of the game and you can play after the credits and finish side missions and stuff. How this works, I have no idea. Shepard gets blasted into space at the end, so yeah I'm really not sure how this works.

I'm thinking the Vorcha will only be slightly more organized than the Varren in ME1.

They suspect it's the Geth so I think they'd know it's synthetic. So I think it's might be the reapers

G4 announced that there are choices to be made which can lead to Shepards death, presumably on that ship. if you choose to abandon ship, you live, but if you choose to attack the threat, you might die... for good!
