So haunting! Classic, can just imagine him in the john, sittin with his eyes closed recording this masterpiece. A big Morrison fan here. But, my Michael OMG
Oh I wish this was the actual video. Sadly this is the only version of it I can find on Youtube. UGH. Thank you for posting this though. At least I have this one to listen too.
Hutch told me about another Australian band named the Hoodoo Gurus. This was part of the inspiration behind me writing the song "Hoodoo/Voodoo Medicine Man" for Aerosmith released on their '89 Pump album. "Read it in the papers, it ain't fair, You know who today don't seem to care, Livin' lovin' gettin' loose, Masturbatin' with a noose" - See how Michael Hutchence died.
@rmjs66 This is an awesome cover of Iggy's song. Hutch had a beautiful voice, we would talk for hours while I would pick up on his speech pattern or words he would say to write songs for him. Once I started making up a song, I would sing part of it to him and he would sing it back. The first song I ever made up for him was Mystify at the age of15 in 1983 after producer Mutt Lange, who had worked with AC/DC on Highway to Hell, brought INXS to meet me.
I love the movie (I grew up watching it . . . can't help it. Plus, a great cast except for Chris O'Donnell), and the soundtrack was top-notch. I wish this had actually been in the movie itself. :(
This song is sex. Not even fucking kidding! I wish I would have heard it in the movie! Michael Hutchence will live on for his awesomeness! This song also is kinda better than Siouxsie & the Banshees' score for the second even though "Face to Face" used to be my favorite!
I had no idea they made this album in vinyl. Although I already have the album via CD, still going to look for it on vinyl. Vinyl records make music more special. Probably cause it's so rich in history. Vinyl lasted longer than all formats combined, including 8 tracks. This must be one of the last albums made on vinyl until recently. Artists now record music on CD and vinyl. Only difference between the two centuries is that the 21st century includes a card that allows a download of the album.
@ They played that beginning 10 seconds when batman was climbing the ladder in to the riddlers lair where the riddler and 2face had Nicole Kidman and chris o donell captive.
@alcatrazzndahouse Definitely that and "There Is A Light". Honestly for a Batman movie soundtrack, especially Batman Forever, that soundtrack on the whole was quite solid.
@alcatrazzndahouse Between this and The Flaming Lips "Bad Days" but that's because of the lyrics in that song. This is just a complete masterful work of music. I love this version of this song.
Now back to the G0:00D part

If this music really were in the film, i believe it would be in the Batman's parents flashback.
