  • The United States economy added a meager 18,000 jobs in June, compared with a gain of a revised 25,000 jobs in May, the Department of Labor said on Friday, while the unemployment rate edged up to 9.2 percent from 9.1 percent in May.

The numbers showed the continuing challenges of adding jobs to the economy even at a rate that keeps pace with population growth, two years after the official end of the longest economic downturn since the Great Depression. This is a recovery?

  • This video is complete foolishness. The second summer of recovery is also going to be a success. Thanks to the president's excellent bang-for-the-buck stimulus, unemployment went down from 9.6% (as shown in this video) to 9.1%. We'll be down to around 5% in 2016 or so with each recovery summer provided we keep the RepubliCONs out of office. G0bama 2012!!

  • The Democratic party should have the same credibility in this country as the Communist and Socialist parties do. That being said, we need to elect Republicans who ACTUALLY BELIEVE in a smaller government.

  • the gop isnt any different than the democrats. libertarian is the way to go

  • Summer of Recovery? Who thought of that? Nancy Pelosi?

  • Great ad

  • What did democrats expect? All obamas (so-called) experience is hypothetical and academic which has always failed when applied in the real World. As they have always said, "Those who can, do and those who can't, teach!"

  • I have to agree with Van:

"Whatever absurd talking points are spewed by government apparatchiks, no meaningful recovery can take place until socialists are removed from power."

  • Come on, America.

Isn't it time we ALL admitted, what most of us have known since 2007: that Obama is nothing but bad for America!!!

  • There is nothing funnier than atheist leftist liberals {mistergarth} using christianity in order to prop up their socialist mantra.

  • Barack Obama is the parsley on the dinner plate of America

  • BUREAU OF LABOR STATISTICS

In 2008, during the last year of President Bush's 8 year tenure, there were about 137 M working Americans. There are now around 130 M.

    [ SOURCE: data . bls . gov / cgi-bin / surveymost ]

In other words, The Joker & Crew have destroyed some 7 million jobs, all the while proselytizing their "saved or created" hallucination.

To put this in perspective, there were more Americans employed TEN YEARS AGO than there are today, and while there are more Americans today.

  • Sorry, Republicans. You criticize Obama for not doing enough, yet you oppose everything he tries to do, even when he adopts your proposals. You criticize the laws that get passed, but you have no new ideas of your own; you just recycle the same failed policies which got us into this mess.

Yes, Obama deserves a lot of criticism. He should be criticized for compromising with Republicans. For adopting Republican policies. For not investigating Republican crimes. For continuing Republican wars.

  • @mistergarth

Your such an idiot, you have no idea of the crap spewing from your key board when you type

  • @TravisCBR600

    "Your [sic] such an idiot..."

Wow. The intellectual sophistication of the content of your comment is astonishing.

What's even more astonishing is the boomerang nature of your highly literate insult.

You're such an idiot. Contraction. Apostrophe. Go back to third grade and learn basic literacy skills before you insult others.

  • @mistergarth

It's been 4 years since the Dems. got control of Congress, and a little under 2 years since Obama was elected. In that short time the deficit went from about $700 bil. to a projected $13 tril. by 2014. Why SHOULDN'T Republicans oppose this spending craze? You can't spend your way out of a recession. Unfunded liabilities, increasing the debt ceiling and borrowing $ from CHINA isn't going to save us!

  • @Ovedya2006

    '...deficit went from...'

Actually, the annual deficit has been stable the last two years. It's the total debt which continues to rise, and the hypothetical projected debt is just a prediction.

Yes, Republicans, and everyone else, should oppose our crazed military spending and support ending Bush's tax cuts for the rich.

We should get out of both wars as quickly as possible, stop unneeded cold war weapons spending, and invest in real human needs instead of paranoid fantasies.

  • Believe BarackO.......he will lead you to the Promise Land.......or is it The PROMISED Land?

  • It's like they expect people to forget that they were in charge 5 minutes ago and screwed things up in the first place. I hope my country isn't so stupid as to think they are a GOP congress away from recovery.

  • @royalgk

Spending increased under Bush due to the fact that Congress was gained by the Democrats in 2006. In the last 2 years of the Bush presidency spending increased 100-fold! Not only so, but the financial crisis has its origins in Democrat policy - going all the way back to Carter!

  • @Ovedya2006 Bush signed those budgets into law. He could have vetoed them. The policies that made this crisis possible don't have a partisan affiliation. Glass-Steagall was repealed in 1999 by a GOP Congress and signed by Democratic President Clinton. Raising the rate of home ownership was a key goal of President Bush and Democrats alike. The Fed and Alan Greenspan lost their economic sense of history when they believed that housing prices were one directional. Can't blame one party.

  • @royalgk Can't blame one party.

can blame the demrat controled freadie and fanny may institutions that need to fail and be swept away.

    pathetic leftists

  • Dems created the sub prime housing market which lead to the overall economy thanking. Google Fannie Mae and New York Times. Read the story "Fannie Mae Eases Credit To Aid Mortgage Lending". It's all right there.

  • @xpandergt

    well said

  • Okay, so it's a campaign ad and thus no requirement of truth (though there should be). But no mentions of Republican policies that got us here, or, it refusal to work with an elected President. Republican campaign slogan should be "LET THE RASCALS BACK IN!"

  • How is the dope and spare change now?

  • I have a good, stable job for which I thank God Almighty every day. My heart and prayers go out to all of those who are beating their heads against the wall trying to find a job and make ends meet. Few things in life can match the overwhelming frustration and grind of putting out app after app, interview after interview only to get nowhere. I know, I've been there and it sucks.

  • @JimboVids well said, this new tax year coming , think we have it bad now ? thisis gonna be 10 times worse ..

  • If you think times are tough now, wait until January when the tax hikes really kick in. Thanks Obama....

  • Yes, the recovery will start after Nov 2nd once the party of NO loses even more seats and realizes that the American public wants the politicians to work together to solve the unemployment problem and quit saying NO NO NO to everything just to make sure that America fails!!! It seems the new slogan for the GOP is "Just say NO!".

  • @MarkSwinkPhotography

u dont understand, the general voter is stupid and easily manipulated. when they see the bills that has been made shitty by the republican house and senate they will blame obama.

stupid people rule.....or at least vote.

  • @AntiVenomFangX you're right anti-venom, the general voter (a.k.a. liberal ) IS stupid and easily manipulated, that is EXACTLY why we have a muslim loving socalist in the oval office (oops) flying all over the fucking planet on air force one apologizing to our enemies. The republicans didn't vote on Obammys "stimulus" bill, that's on you demon crats! I hope the wings fall off the next time he's at 30,000 ft. over shark infested waters.

  • @bob10point

i dont care if they are liberal or not your so focused on that kind of shit its psycho. then general voter is both republican and democrat you fucking dipshit.

if you want to make this about republican and democrat we can, which side has more people who believ ein evolution.... right there is proof of the intelligence.

republicans like you make it hard for republicans like me to et an intelligent conversation across.

  • @AntiVenomFangX and in closing, you will not have your health care "reform" and that's why we are all so pissed. It's personal now. You moonbats have stepped into unchartered territory and are in for the ass kicking of a lifetime on Nov 2nd. Feel bad about your vote. Don't vote again. You are a loser who voted for a man who sat in a racist church for twenty years. Nice job...by the way, you owe me an apology.

  • @kittenagogo28

this is the republicans health care plan. do you not know things? i dont care if obama is in office or not. you painted this picture of me that is as accurate as your tidbit facts you get form loons who make republicans like me look bad.

  • @AntiVenomFangX What? Just shut up. You really want the govt in charge of your health care? GOODNIGHT!

  • @kittenagogo28

i would like to give it a try. because this form of health care is more caring about the bottom line instead of the customer. this is obvious and i know you know it.

  • @kittenagogo28 Maybe antivenom will need a liver transplant (for sure a brain transplant) because of all the drugs he must have done and Obammys death squad will say "Nope, you destroyed the one God gave you by too much dope."

  • @AntiVenomFangX How do you figure this is a "republican" heathcare bill? The demon cratic controled congress was holding CLOSED door meetings and only a handful of republicans (a.k.a. rino's) were ALLOWED in the room. The demons passed it Obammy signed it and HOW MANY republicans voted FOR it? answer NONE! This "bill" is ALL DEMONcrat.

  • @bob10point

because this is almost a mirror image of the republican proposal in the 90's you dumb shit. stick to video games or something stupid.

the republicans dont want it only because obama is in office. this is proof that they love their political party more than their country. they are dishonest and even when given their idea of health care overhaul they vote it down just to play childish politics.

  • @kittenagogo28 Don't wait for an apology from an idiot, most of them are still blaming Bush for Gore loosing in 2000.

  • @bob10point

gore was a joke im glad he lost, same goes for kerry.

  • @AntiVenomFangX I find it impossible to believe you're a republican with the shit you say. YES, republicans have screwed things up too, but this administration is TRYING to destroy America, and if you can't see that then you are blind and ignorant and part of the problem.

  • @bob10point

you cant believ im a republican because i dont act like a psycho like you crazy party destroying republicans.

your making us look like morons who dont believe in the existance of DNA+ fossils, or CO2. psychos. i bet you sin all of the time. thats why you think its common for other to sin.

  • @AntiVenomFangX If you look at a picture of Darwin you can see how he came to believe man came from apes, but he was wrong. Monkeys are still being born so when will a monkey born today turn into a human being and if a woman gives birth why does she not deliver a monkey instead of a baby? I have been BLESSED to watch 3 births, watched them come out and none of them came close to looking like a monkey. The belief in evolution is for mental midgits such as yourself.

  • @bob10point

you cant be serious.... you think evolution is an animal giving birth to something a 2% difference in DNA??? hahahahhahahahahha your so smart.

yes stupid evolution is like pokemon hahhahahahahahah yous such an idiot. where do you get your science information from? religious people? ahahahahhahahahahhahahahahahahha

  • @MarkSwinkPhotography the ONLY thing the republicans are saying "no" to now is the wild and reckless spending spree the DEMONcrats are on. The DEMONcratic controled congress has the checkbook, not the republicans. We are borrowing money from China. America use to be the country all the other countries borrowed from. Let's start backing the dollar with gold again and not worthless paper.

  • @bob10point

its what the republicans proposed to oppose clintons health care overhaul. this is how dumb they are. they dont care if it is good or not. they dont want democrats to pass anything during a recession. this way when the economy gets worse. you disgraceful lying sinners can say look at how obama destroyed america.

you are sinner and you going straight to hell.

  • @MarkSwinkPhotography

Wife: We're going broke, honey, we have all of this debt and no way to pay it, with no money coming into the house.

Husband: It doesn't matter, we can print money to cover our debts, and "borrow" money from our other debts; and we can borrow money from our neighbors across the street. We have to spend more money to get us out of this mess!

Wife: You're crazy. I'm leaving you for another man.

    Husband: Democrats

    Wife: American taxpayers/voters.

  • Since 2006 the Dems have been in control of Congress...they write the bills, they spend the money. VOTE THE BUMS OUT.

  • @surfstang

wow..... u think this was due to democratic bills? this was due to allowing crime to work itself out in the market. something republicans always talk abotu and still do.

reagan did it and then bush sr had no choice to raise taxes. bush and reagan are so similar and they are so misunderstood. people think they actually did good.

  • @AntiVenomFangX Really? Why don't you tell us a bit about who controlled congress when the crash of the economy happened? And please school us all on how Keynesian Economics(which history has proved doesn't work)worksTell us how FDR, hero of the left prolonged ahem, I mean got us out of the depression. Please bowl us over with your brilliance.Tell us all about how the left is the hero of the working man and good stewards of the economy when the unemployment rate is 9.6 and they've wasted a trillion

  • @kittenagogo28

i would tell you but it sounds like your mind is made up. show me one recession where the US didnt use stimulus. and then show me the top 5 most powerful economies that HAVE NOT integrated Keynesian theory into their policies. you cant, because they are shithole countries that cant battle inflation or deflation with Keynesian economics.

what do you think unemployment should be at? ahahahah your economic background might be cable news.

  • @AntiVenomFangX Oh, that's right you libs can't really be bothered to explain yourselves can you? You are so spiral eyed over the community organizer you will stick up for him whether or not you might have facts then suggest the rest of us are just rubes influenced by Fox News. A 600 dollar tax refund is hardly in the ballpark of wasting a trillion dollars. Shouldn't the unemployment rate be at least 8% or under like your lying hero promised? And who was in control of congress?

  • @kittenagogo28

not a liberal stupid. im just smarter than you bible thumpers.

  • @AntiVenomFangX I'm an agnostic, dumbass. I'm also prochoice and fine with gay marriage. I also don't like the death penalty and anyone who at this point could defend the community organizer is a liberal. Sorry that's not assuming shit, it's just knowing you are a moonbat.

  • nobody can predict unemployment. the fact that you hold on to this speaks volumes about your rhetorical skills. the only people who listen to the bullshit obama says are morons who are just like you, the only difference is you vote for the opposite party every single time.

you have the rhetorical skils of a christian. and you said the tax refund cost $600 im not going to call you stupid... he borrowed the money for the tax cuts.... which is a fake tax cut just like Reagan did.

  • @AntiVenomFangX Please with your crap....first off I told you I'm not a Christian. Second I was talking about the tax rebate of 600 bucks Bush gave us all, which doesn't come close to a trillion dollars. Second, you are too much of a drone to talk to. Sorry that you voted for the community organizer, but you made a mistake. He sucks and is doing this on purpose or is an economic illiterate (like you) and third-I need to go to bed so my taxes can pay for your idiotic social programs.

  • @kittenagogo28

it wasnt 600 dollars. it was 600 on average per person. my taxes pay for you social programs too, so why would you even say something like that.

christian or not your rhetoric is on the same level as them. the fact that you said obama is doing this on purpose and called me an economic illiterate is evidence you are stupid.

whats your economic background? my money is on cable news hahahhahhaahh you win

  • @AntiVenomFangX fourthly, yes we can predict unemployment and a stimulus (cash grab) that won't work. We have history on our side on this one and if you bother to see what FDR did (UCLA econs agree) to prolong people's suffering during the depression you would shut your stupid moonbat trap. We said "no" to health care crap, we said no to the stimulus. Don't you think maybe we know something you don't because your idiotic vote fills you with the unending feeling of stupidity that it should?

  • @kittenagogo28

you cant predict unemployment....... you are so hopelessly stupid for saying that.

give me the names of these UCLA econs i want to see just how small of a fraction of the economic community you will give me.

your hopeless and you have tidbit facts that you pick up from people who plan on opposing the opposite party before a problem and solution arises.

show me these economists you are so smart.

  • @AntiVenomFangX I will be happy to tomorrow, but have to go to bed and can't research it tonight. It is in a WSJ column I read a couple of months back. Anyway, can definitely find it, but I expect an apology for your vote in return. I don't educate for free.

  • @kittenagogo28

like i said it will be a tiny fraction of the economic community. so what are you economic accomplishments? are you even involved with the markets? or do you just pretend on youtube?

i believe you when you say you expect an apology thats the type of person that you are.

Ps the wallstreet journal is run by newscorp stupid. thats a biased source of information hahaha yea i am sorry. sorry for you get some unbiased sources.

i doubt your going to list the economists... coward

  • @AntiVenomFangX under George W. Bush the unemployment rate averaged around 5.6 % for eight years, Obammy said without the "stimulus" bill unemployment would go to 8 %. ALL the demon crats voted for it and passed it and unemployment went to 10 %, it is now 9.6 % and all this happened in the 18 months since Obammy put his hand on the koran??? swearing to betray and destroy the Constitution of the United States. Ohio is a "battleground state", Obammy carried Ohio over 50% of voters want Bush back

  • @bob10point Oh damn, can't tell by his stupid page where he's gone to be a moonbat idiot. No fun!

  • @AntiVenomFangX Come back and fight little moonbat. Too scared you are going to get your ass kicked by a girl? Why don't you call me a racist? Isn't that fun for you idiots?

  • @kittenagogo28 youre awesome!

  • @DashboardRocks59 Thanks! Right back at you, but I always have to confess that I newly got my act together (like the past ten years) and am guilty of voting for Ted Kennedy, ugh, twice, but I am the daughter of a public school teacher so I think it absolves me. I wish the moonbats would at least try to stick up for themselves. It's so disappointing!

  • @AntiVenomFangX the housing crisis started under the cClinton, Clinton, and Gore administration when demoncrats Barney Frank and Chris Dodd and democratic controled Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac gave loans to people who could not afford to pay for the house they just bought because they in all truthfulness their credit wasn't good enough to get a loan for a six pack.

  • @bob10point

i agree with you about dodd and frank, but thats a fraction of what happened in the housing crisis. and you should know that.

  • @AntiVenomFangX I wouldn't call it a fraction. I would call it a HUGE part. It's not the only part, but again, who was in charge of congress?

  • @bob10point

you think a huge amount of subprime lending it was 100% of the problem? or even 50%??? your crazy.

  • lets get our republicans back in office...stupid dems

  • If you like the US Senate candidates who advocate for spending sanity, then give to those particular candidates! Don't give to the NRSC. Don't, don't, don't. There's no guarantee that they won't spend it on the big government types. Remember, the NRSC supported Charlie Crist. Now, he's not even a Republican anymore. Trust your instincts. Don't trust the NRSC.

  • Everyone I know is having an awful 2010. Forget the summer in and of itself. The whole year has been a struggle. And it doesn't appear to be any relief in site for awhile. I don't recall struggling like this since the clinton era.

  • Lol, "Four more yards."

  • The Republican party is like a car ready to be jacked, the keys are in the ignition, door open and the engine on. For God-sakes folks, lets get in and take it. I believe the only way to save this country is being fiscally conservative. I do not care if you are a Democrat, Independent or what ever, It is time for a joy ride.

  • @irisojects PS My summer sucked! Who the heck has any money?

  • Obama refers to the GOP as the party of "NO"... like that's a bad thing.

  • @ChrisIIIcube Actually, it's more like, the media don't want you to know they even have a plan...looks like it's working.

  • @TheOtherJarhead The GOP being united in standing/pushing-back AGAINST Obamas use of our Constitution as toilet paper, speaks volumes...despite the progressive medias lame message.

  • Funny how the GOP doesn't mention anything about their plan.

  • Solis spin, per the Onion:

Labor Dept: Available Labor Rate Increases To 10.2%

    :)

  • Register to vote. Register as an independent. Don't vote for a Democrat OR a Republican. It's not "throwing your vote away" if more and more people start doing it! Let's get rid of party politics and give We, the People a voice again!

  • Help the GOP win??? How about vote EVERYONE OUT!!! The GOP is worse than the Dems, and the Dems have become everything the GOP was during the Reagan admin. I agree, we need a regime change - get rid of EVERYONE and put people in there who actually have a grasp on what the **** is happening in this country.

  • @JeffsVideoProjects The dems had control of congress for most of Reagan's two terms so your comment really holds no water.

  • @TheOtherJarhead Not his second term, and the mere FACT that BOTH parties are so incredibly corrupt is what my argument is about. Can you deny that? What about this FACT "holds no water"? Our government is corrupt, doesn't give a sh** about us and we need to respond by getting them, ALL of them, OUT!

  • Won't Obama just Veto everything the Republicans put forward if they win the House and Senate?

  • @minimidgy Yep, if they don't have a veto-proof Senate. If the repubs get 60 votes in the Senate, they can override The Inept One.

  • "Recover Summer'" is to Barack Obama as "Mission Accomplished" was to George Bush.

  • @locomio91660 Except Bush's Mission Accomplished sign was spot on. They DID depose Saddam Hussein. That was the FIRST mission. The next one, setting up a stable democracy, wasn't as easy.

  • Along with Obamacare and Porkulus, Barry's wreckovery summer has truly united us because we'll all be together in November!

  • Recovery begins on Nov 2!!! I love it!!! Nothing the libs can do to stop it. Hopey/Changey is OVAH!! :)

  • The Obama-Pelosi-Reid Democrats and their state counterparts have been running up bills that can only be paid by the taxes of people under 40 working until they are 80 and then retiring on 50 percent of what their older colleagues receive now, if that.

  • NOVEMBER ... NOVEMBER ... NOVEMBER!

  • Democrats would rather see people on Unemployment + SUFFERING than w/ACTUAL JOBS!!!

  • The mood out here in flyover country is bad. The Republicans have a chance this January (assuming they take control of Congress) to start on the long road back to the original American founding ideals, freedom, personal responsibility, and limited government.

If they don't make the required futile gestures like repealing the awful Health Care Law in its entirety, lowering taxes and slashing the budget, there will be unrest and it will not be pretty.

  • RNC, please put together an agenda of what the republicans will do when they take over. Spell out what you will do and stay focused and committed to it. If you get voted in do not squander your chance. The US is in really bad shape and we cannot afford bickering and empty promises this time.

  • GREAT ad

  • Wreckovery is more like it.

  • Looks like Obama, Reid, and Pelosi are not the people to make communism work either.

Not to worry, the left will keep on searching and trying.

  • Lenin was a Community Organizer......

  • @mistergarth I dont think Jesus Christ wanted to get the christians a seat at herods table so to speak..you're a moron.

  • ...and then when they take over, the Republicans will act like "Democrat Light" and still spend too much. We need to ban everyone who is in office or who has ever held office from running again. We need new, patriotic blood in DC. People with real character and moral fiber.

  • @TheOtherJarhead I hope you're not right about that. I hope the Republicans will get a clue from the bloodbath the Democrats are going to experience and undo some of this mess the Dems have made. It's a good idea to clean out congress, but let's keep Paul Ryan, please.

  • @katwil89 I hope I'm wrong, too, but they did it last time they had control.

  • Failed democrat policies in action!

  • One suggestion, should have used Conan instead of Leno- would better reflect the unemployment theme.

  • the only problem i had with this ad is the obvious one: no latinos, no blacks, no asians. Not smart.

  • @woundupuy ...so you translate that into what? Ever notice the dearth of "people of color" on the MSNBC prime time line up?

  • @woundupuy

Yeah, they were all photos of the Democratic administration. Liberals are such hypocrites. All white MSNBC lineups, etc.

  • @woundupuy I guess if you don't watch the video you would miss the non-whites in the video. Not smart is making an obviously wrong comment. See 0:21, 0:26 1:05 etc...

  • Yes! Very good. The truth hurts....dems,,haha

  • My summer sucked, thanks. Couldn't afford to get out of town. But enjoyed many, many, many vicarious vacations with Grrrrrrr-ack "Big Dog" Obama and Family. Gosh -- SUCH good times!

  • Perfect. All you need to do is tell the truth. Obama and his cohorts will do the rest. Looking forward to November. God save the republic.

  • Even the most ardent Dems have a hard time trying to defend the "recovery" farce.

  • The same people will all get voted back in. Because when the stupidity of the voters can't be counted on, vote fraud can!

  • Obamanomics

    Obama's "NO Recovery" Summer

    _______________________________

The WRONG direction for The United States of America!

Remember this November: TAKE THE DEM TRASH OUT!

  • When Obama says he's got “no regrets” about calling the past three months “Recovery” Summer, Obama's either telling the truth or Obama's lying.

    You decide...

Either Obama is blind to the damage Obamanomics has done, OR his ‘trickle-up poverty’ is the plan he wants in place, OR Obama has no problem looking us in the eye and telling a lie. Any way you look at this, it's a ‘lose-lose-lose’ for America.

  • Yeah right, lets vote in november for the party that created this mess!

    great plan.

  • @janpauwels Yeah, that would be the DEMOCRATS, who controlled Congress since 2007. Unemployment was at 5% before the Dems took over.

  • @janpauwels

Democrats controlled Congress since 2007. But tell me, what specific government policies put us in a recession? What caused the housing bubble? If you know the answer (factual answers, not talking points) then you know the Democrats put us in the ditch.

  • the ayatollah ibn baraka al hussein islamaoblahblah and his fellow libtard dimmwittocrooks are presiding over the destruction on the American dream. Can you say jimmy carter 2.0.

  • Summer of Recovery is the Summer of Wreckovery.

  • Very well done!
