I have recently worked closely with a person who attends Mass with Jim Caviziel. They're very traditional & devout there. All I can say is Mel Gibson's "Passion" brought me back to the Catholic faith, & I am the worst sinner of all...it also brought my husband, who was an agnostic Jew, to conversion. I believe, that it is no spiritual coincidence that Mel Gibson fell into such troubles and temptations publically, directly after this film was released. Regardless of what he is, or is not doing as he should, this film is still a work of Our Lord, for all people. Please, let us include Mel in our Divine Mercy today. I think, like all of us poor sinners, he needs it.

That is a very tough thing to answer, and only Our Lord knows for sure. Even he himself had stated in interviews how he loathed the man he was in his past, when he was named most sexy man in the world. I tend to think he had always struggled with various personal things(like most humans), but the enemy attacked him that much harder(or so it would seem), through many sources/people, after the film was released. I think we are watching a battle for his soul via tabloids right now too.

Well, based on wikipedia's website, Jim has and continues to be a very loyal Catholic, as well as an active member of his Church in Cali. He adopted two Asian babies, both with brain tumors. He created a commerical to oppose stem cell research, though I *never* saw that ad(I am in Cali), which I believe was supressed by the liberal media. In general, even though Jim has worked in more films, I think the media is trying to keep a loyal Catholic from the spotlight.

I think what creatornat was trying to say was that as much as Mel Gibson loves Jesus and made a movie to make the passion known better, he still is a sinner and fell into temptation.

I love prayin this prayer. I also love divine mercy sunday. Me and my sister are big spurs fans. On Divine mercy sunday last year, the Spurs were playin the Dallas Mavericks. When she was prayin 4 the spurs she heard a voice in her head that said "Do u want the game or the championship". She ofcourse asked the championship, then all of a sudden Tim Duncan got ejected 4 laughing and the Mavs rallied back and won the game, but the voice was right the Spurs later won the championship that year.

Not only is it approved but the Feast of Divine Mercy is celebrated on the Sunday after Easter.

Divine Mercy Sunday is my favorite day of the year. You gain a plenary indulgence on that day if you go to confession & receive Jesus in Holy Communion. ALL your sins AND the temporal punishment due to sin is forgiven & forgotten.
