I'm 29 and I love Heep! I have 2 wishes: that more peope from my generation listened to this music, and that I could go back in time and see the original lineup in concert...maybe circa 1972. I hate today's music.
One of my favorites. I wish there was a live version online and a full live version of Salisbury... they were great! I saw them in 1971 in a gym in Albany, GA. Right in front of the stage... music never looked so good.. the notes were in color.. I guess you had to be there, laff.
Whoever posted this song, you rock so damn hard I luv ya for real. I lost my original album but will never forget this song for some reason. Buckets of soul Simon! :D
One of the best by one of the best. These cats didn't depend on the 1000 note per second guitar solo or the deep AND meaningless lyrics. I lift a glass to you David Byron - for your peace love and understanding (long may you run) and a second to the several bass players that filled the seat with Uriah Heep (Gary Thain forever). Mick Box . . . . . May you (eventually) die with a smile on your face and an ale in your hand. Cheers
perfect

Great! I haven't heard this for 30 years. i used to have it as a flip side of "Look at yourself"

he had to circumvent the censers of his day with the lyrics but the message is still very relevant to today...war is money...

This is a true classic of it's time. Having got tired of the more popular stuff, I think that this is one of their best songs.
