Very beautiful and calm Pit. Im working on my 6 month old pup right now. Props to you for spending time with your best friend. Hopefully owners like you change the stereotype soon!
What a good boy, as a pitbull owner I agree they are the smartest dogs mine learned to open the back door herself! check it out the vids are posted! Beautiful apbt btw.
@HedgieDiva Yes they sure are smart. Ninja also learned how to open latch doors at a young age and still does it at any house that has latch doors. Sometimes it's a pain in the butt. ha ha
@smicka123 Be firm, be consistant, use rewards, use simple commands, Only train when it is fun for you and your dog, socialize them always, and most of all remember that you are the alpha.
@christiontroy Also If I could give a tip, I feel people reward with too many treats and then the dog responds only to treats..So what I do is I change things around and keep the dog less bored..It helps with training and allows more time in one session. Let the dog know the command in the reason to obey, also like said above you are the leader and can give treats when you choose not when the dog wants.
@HedgieDiva I definitely agree. Ninja will obey all comands even from my two year old niece without reward. He will also climb trees on command, pulls wieght, etc. without bait.
i love pitbulls!
