I'd have to agree that this is the greatest one day game of all time, I remember this vividly over a decade later, especially my hero McGrath having worked so hard in his final over to have Klusener caught for only Reiffel to drop it.

I also remember fist pumping the air when Warne was ripping the guts out of their team.

Love the SA vs Aus games, better than any other two teams in the world!

This is the greatest because it was a world cup semi final that went down to the wire. From Shane Warne to Lance Klusener and then the match winning run out, it was high drama and definitely deserving of the greatest 1 day game of all time.

@Sibs1990 Perhaps a good cricket game is about more than how many runs are scored? I want to see a fair contest between bat and ball. This game is great because of all the twists and turns and the close finish. Also, who gives a shit about a random one dayer compared to a world cup semi final?
