first of all, i didn't bomb anything and my country haven't, couse i'm not georgian. :) and as i was informed russian armed forces were dislocated on georgian border before, as you say, massacre. the tention grew upon both sides because they both, georgians and russians shot some rounds towards other. and then suddenly georgians attacked innocent civilians. it sounds a bit unreal, in my opinion.

BUT, it is a fact, that Georgian artillary started bombing Zkhinvali. 1 day, Russian forces that were stationed near the border, did not react, as Medvedev called the internationl community to act. It didn´t! So what should Russia have done? Nothing? Plus, Georgia had a clear reason to attack Zkhinvali.

You're right and untill the beginning of the 20th century everyone felt that way. Then however 2 crazy things happened. 1. Russia fell to communism in 1917 and isolated itself from the rest of europe. 2. After WWII it captured eastern europe and divided europe in two, working against capitalism of western europe and US. So i think you'ld agree it kind off asked for it. However if Russia shows more democracy and less anti-western feelings, it would probably be fast re-accepted in Europe.

Because Russia can not be an EU country unless it ceases to exist in the way that it does. The EU and Russia are the same. Each consists of member countries. The different is us European's wouldn't bomb another EU state for wanting to seperate from the EU. Russia has and does. Unless Russia breaks up into the seperate countries it is consisted off it can never dream of being an EU state.

first of all, i didn't bomb anything and my country haven't, couse i'm not georgian. :) and as i was informed russian armed forces were dislocated on georgian border before, as you say, massacre. the tention grew upon both sides because they both, georgians and russians shot some rounds towards other. and then suddenly georgians attacked innocent civilians. it sounds a bit unreal, in my opinion.

BUT, it is a fact, that Georgian artillary started bombing Zkhinvali. 1 day, Russian forces that were stationed near the border, did not react, as Medvedev called the internationl community to act. It didn´t! So what should Russia have done? Nothing? Plus, Georgia had a clear reason to attack Zkhinvali.

AND the georgian military was informed of the time and place of the bombings, but they didnt tell anyone hoping there would be numerous civilian casualties... now you tell me why Georgian airplanes bombed Tskhinval's civilian buildings ? there's no military objects not to mention buildings in Ossetia.. there's only militia...

You're right and untill the beginning of the 20th century everyone felt that way. Then however 2 crazy things happened. 1. Russia fell to communism in 1917 and isolated itself from the rest of europe. 2. After WWII it captured eastern europe and divided europe in two, working against capitalism of western europe and US. So i think you'ld agree it kind off asked for it. However if Russia shows more democracy and less anti-western feelings, it would probably be fast re-accepted in Europe.

Because Russia can not be an EU country unless it ceases to exist in the way that it does. The EU and Russia are the same. Each consists of member countries. Ok here's what I got out of this. The fact this Georgian embassador had these passports in his hands proves Georgian aggression. A person isn't just gona hand his or her passport out of free will but at either gun point or killed in the process. le français reste une des langues officielles de l'administration européenne, vas y voir, et tu verras que tout les documents soumis sont tous en 1 er lieu rédigé en français ! puis en anglais et enfin dans les langues d'origines des députés ect

If you want to know the exact numbers and statistics from last August war, please go and check out results of international organisations, human's right watch and so on... during the war Georgians killed 70-100 Ossetians, half of them with weapons in their hands... and after Russia's attach on our land about 500 civilians were killed and over 3,000 injured. I can say the same about Abkhazia, from there are forced to move more than 300,000 Georgians, so in reality we have about 400,000 refugees. It means that every 10th Georgian is forced to move from his home losing everything.

All have to know that there isn't neither South Ossetian nor Abkhazian separatism. Kremlin not only supported and provocated separatism there they created it. The place, so called South Ossetia was part of Georgia for more than 3,000 years, it is inseperatable part of Georgia. Georgian population was strong majority there untill 1992, but after ethnical cleansing of Georgian population we have at least 70,000 refugees from that region.

Neither Georgia nor Russia were playing fair-play in this conflict.
1) Mr. Sakaashvili (sorry for the spelling!) lied to NATO saying (7 hours before the conflict broke up!) that he would not use force. He did.
This is info I got from the Belgian NATO ambassador in Brussels.
2) Russia had no right to violate the territorial integrity of Georgia.
Nothing is black or white here.

yes tens of thousands of people where killed and around 150,000 ethnic georgians where displaced by the conflict. Ethnic cleansing did take place according to the OSCE and they are fairly reliable. But now the only ethnic group in Abkhazia is Abkhazian so what does that say about the effectiveness of Russian Peacekeepers? Now tens of thousands of ethnic georgians are forced from there homes in Ossetia and the surrounding area while the russians do nothing to protect them.
